I RECIEVED TREATMENT FROM THIS PROGRAM AND THE TREATMENT WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT I EXPECTED . THESE PEOPLE WERE THE MOST CARING LOVING PEOPLE IVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE . IF YOU NEW MY SITUATION AND THE HELP THEY PROVIDED ME WITH . YOU WOULD FEEL YOUR COMPLAINT IS WRONG AND I CANT BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD EVER WRITE SOMETHING AS UNTRUE AS THIS . ITS OBVIOUS YOUR COMPLAINT GETS NO ATTENTION BECAUSE ITS WRONG . I CANT BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD POST THIS . THIS TREATMENT CENTER IS A PROGRAM EVERYONE SHOULD WANT TO GO TO AND SEEK HELP . YOUR NOT GOING TO FIND A BETTER PLACE TO CARE FOR YOU . THEY SAVED MY LIFE AND HAVE NEVER GIVEN UP ON ME . THIS IS A PLACE I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO RUN TO . NOT RUN AWAY FROM . PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE IF YOU REALLY NEED HELP AND WANT IT . YOU WILL NOT FEEL THE WAY THIS PERSON FELT ABOUT THIS PLACE . I KNOW I WAS IN NEED OF HELP MORE THAN ANYONE AND IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR LARRY BURNS REACHING OUT TO HELP ME . I COULD HAVE NEVER ACCOMPLISHED GETTING CUSTODY OF MY CHILDREN , STANDING UP TO MY ABUSER , BECOMING AN MTV ARTIST ALL BECAUSE THIS PLACE MADE ME FEEL SOMEONE CARED . MY WHOLE LIFE I RAN FROM BAD THINGS AND WHO EVER WROTE THIS MUST BE A BAD PERSON WHO ONLY CARES ABOUT HIS SELF BECAUSE IF YOU WERE A GOOD PERSON AND REALLY ATTENDED THIS PROGRAM WANTING THE HELP . YOU YOUR SELF COULD SAY WHAT YOUR SAYING ABOUT THIS PROGRAM IS WRONG AND I HOPE YOU FIND THE TIME TO CORRECT YOUR COMPLAINT FOR THE HELP OF OTHERS . THIS COMPLAINT MAY MMAKE A PERSON IN NEED OF SERIOUS HELP TURN AWAY . WHEN THEY NEED TO RUN INTO THESE PEOPLES ARMS LIKE I DID . ONE DAY I HOPE TO TELL MY STORY ON HOW AMAZING THESE PEOPLE ARE BECAUSE I KNOW THEY WILL BE GIVEN THE RECOGNITION THEY DESERVE . I STAND BEHIND THIS COMPANY 100% THAT THEY ARE THE BEST AND I WOULD NEVER WANT TO GO TO ANY OTHER PROGRAM AFTER SEEKING TREATMENT FROM SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STAFF OF AWESOME PROFESSIONALS WHO TRULY CARE . THERE THE BEST AND THANK U TO EVERYONE AT THE CROSBY CENTER ESPECIALLY LARRY BURNS HE SAVED ME FROM ALOT . I LOVE THIS MAN FOR BEING THE GREAT MAN THAT HE IS .

Larry Burns is a con artist.A convicted one at that..

At first I was unsure about this rehab I didn't even know if I wanted to be drug free, but the Crosby Center open my eyes . I struggled with deep emotional issues that I never talked about and they opened me up to talking about it and releasing just enough of it to make me happy. I don't about the negative reviews on here to me it is a great place with top rate therapist and a great sanctuary to heal your mind . To me it saved my life in a way .

The staff listens and is responsive. Taking care of the “little comforts/needs/wants”, makes me calm, trusting and more ready to focus on the treatment. Treatment sessions individualized for me, biofeedback was the most relaxing, positive reinforcement. The doctors really seem to “get” me, and help me with life’s little hurdles. Not a 12 step program (those never worked for me).

I want to thank AAE Retreat for what they have done for my family. I wish to express my gratitude to everyone in this drug rehab center. You all have been a great support and have taken care of me really well. All because of you Im sober today. I had been trying really hard to get rid of my addiction but was unsuccessful every time. But all because of your drug rehab center Im leading a healthy and peaceful life. God bless you all, for giving me a new life.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY..SCAM

it was a small, personal group living setting (not more than 6) at the retreat, but you are mixed with rough types, court ordered, others brought in by interventions, and the few who came on their own to get help.

the property is old, no equine therapy (horses kick you and run from you, lamas spit on you, and the goat tries to buck you with his horns). When i stayed there was a mice infestation, dead rat in the pool, and mouse droppings all over the bathrooms and kitchen (they were slowly taking care of it)

we ate lunches at hometown buffet (disgusting) and Chili's. Food was not gourmet and everything is done on a cheap budget (your paying over $1200 per day).

Never received nutritional counseling, the gym is off site at a local LA Fitness (that you are dropped off at and picked up 1 hour later)

The hot tub never worked, and the pool was freezing cold and you couldn't swim comfortably in it.

Larry Burns (The owner of AAE Retreat and the Crosby Center) has a public criminal record online. Read up on his jail time for fraud! Next step- Call ADP (Alcohol and Drug Programs) They will laugh when you tell them you are thinking about seeking treament at this place.

Do your research before contacting this business. You'll be surprised to find that that there are not as many doctors as the website says- and while you're at it, check out the public police records on the place- and the owner Larry Burns.
