I am a grandmother who has been homeless since the day i first became a gramma [ten years now], but as of last month i met a man who give me a place to live for now. this last year i have gotten myself into a jam with finances when it comes to driving [called tickets], so the little bit of money that i get from s.s.i. goes towards my bills and now tickets for the next six to eight months leaving me with no money to spare and then my car engine blew up leaving me with no car. Now i have know way to get my grandkids any christmas and i have three of them. is there any place i could get help with this problem.

A call to your county's Children and Youth division might prove helpful. In addition, as noted in other responses, local congregation(s) might be helpful, the Salvation Army, and/or the Red Cross.

Sharing and Caring Hands and The MN Department of Human Services are two good places to check.

Churches are a good place to start. Salvation army, kiwanis groups, Lion's, Elks , Masons lodges also.
Been there my friend. God's speed.
