Why does my laptop get so hot?

Why does my laptop get so hot so fast by

www.asayasolutions.com

Your laptop generates heat just like any other appliance in your home or office. The fact that its size is small means that it’s cooling system is also small.

Some of the reasons why your laptop gets hot fast are:

The laptop vent is blocked.

The fan inside your computer is no longer working.

There is so much dirt inside your computer that the processor is not getting enough cool air. In many cases your laptop will shut itself down to avoid any further damage to other internal components. But if it does not you need to turn it off and seek help from a professional computer repair technician.

The fan(s) is very important to the overall operation of your laptop. If the fan stops working and there is not enough ventilation going into the inside of the laptop, the computer will get so hot so fast that it will even crack your LCD screen. I have seen it happen to one of our clients.

Another thing you may consider while waiting for the fan to be replaced is to keep the CD-ROM tray open to allow more cool air to circulate inside the laptop.

Do not keep your computer running for a longer period of time if you know that it is heating up.

Last but not least, back up your data just in case something happens to your laptop, you will be able to recover your precious documents, valuable family pictures and favorite music.

Thank you for the heads up! However, would the CPU have something to do with the heating as my computer is also slow?
