Philip Urso Leads Programs for Living Life With Yoga, Leadership

Posted 04:07 PM October 02, 2011

South Kingstown, RI - Sept. 14, 2011 - All That Matters , a center for yoga and wellness in the Wakefield, Rhode Island community has many gems in its midst; caring, compassionate experts in their chosen field of holistic health. One of them is Philip Urso - Yoga teacher, author, podcaster and trainer of some of the best yoga teachers in New England.

His first program, Yoga Bootcamp will run October 2, 2011 from 1pm to 3:30pm and costs $45. This powerful and fun, heated yoga intensive will focus on energy movement and energy blockages, as students explore the free flow of their power, peace, and patience. With no scripts, and no expectations, Philip believes anything is possible; students will be transformed by high peaks of challenge and deep valleys of release. One student explains: "I learned poses that I thought were too hard for me- but Philip could see I was ready and I was! I was so surprised and happy."

Philip's second class, Leadership: A Way of Being teaches that to effectively lead others, you must first learn to lead yourself. Philip shows that leadership is not a skill, a set of inspiring words, or a great speech. It is more fundamental, more basic, and more permanent than that. It is a way of being. Philip Urso will draw on principles from A Course in Miracles, Buddhism, The Tao, and Yoga to explore living and leading from this way of being. Practicing "skills" can be awkward and hard work; whether you teach, run a business, a team, or a family, this workshop will bring a higher purpose to your life.

Philip Urso has a long track record of leadership and success in media and Internet start-ups. Currently, he serves as Chairman of Towerstream Corporation (NASDAQ:TWER), a company he co-founded. Towerstream provides 4th-generation wireless Internet access to businesses in top US cities. His two 5-star podcasts on iTunes - A Crash Course in Miracles and Baptiste Power Vinyasa yoga classes - have over one million combined downloads. The program will consist of five different classes beginning October 6, 2011. They will run on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. The topics include Mapping Your Way of Being: The Big Spiritual Movements, The Big Picture Distinguishing Your Higher Self in Practice: Inquiry and Throwing Out What You No Longer Value, Karma and Relationships: Know What To Do and Why, Characteristics of a Leader and The Inspired Leader's Practices: Prayer, Forgiveness, Healing. All five classes cost $195.00. Drop-ins are welcome.

Finally, there's Live Love Teach Basic Elements: How to Teach a Sun Salutation in 16 Hours scheduled to run October 7th and 8th, 2011. According to its teachers, there is a yoga parallel: all the nuances, blockages, excitement, and skills required to teach radiant, exhilarating vinyasa yoga are contained in one play: the sun salutation. The Live Love Teach founders will coach participants in small "practice-teach" groups to reinvent their teaching of the sun salutation so that every moment is more powerful and relevant. They'll learn to effectively use breath, flow, and minimum words; create strong transitions; power a class with tension and release. Most importantly, they'll experience teaching from love - and learn to laugh away fear. You will have a number of aha! moments, and during dynamic discussions with Deborah, Philip, and Stacy these moments will take root to effect change in your practice, teaching, and life. No matter your experience level - beginning teacher or 20-year veteran - this powerful trio guarantees you will gain major insights into your teaching and have fun doing it.

Internationally known teachers Philip Urso, Deborah Williamson, and Stacy Dockins are co-founders of LIVE LOVE TEACH, a 200/500-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher training program and an ever-growing global network of yoga teachers, studio owners, and Yoga Life Coaches. Philip's training began with Siddha Yoga in 1990, then with Kripalu teacher Anita Bussey, followed by comprehensive training with Baron Baptiste. Philip leads Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Trainings with fellow yoga teacher Deborah Williamson, who has trained hundreds of yoga teachers and Yoga Life CoachesTM with a loyal following of international participants and students. Stacy Dockins has mentored many teachers across the US and loves to empower them in their teaching and lives. To learn more about this, and other great programs, please visit www.allthatmatters.com.

Fiscal Coach Offers Bootcamp for Businesses

Posted 03:42 PM September 05, 2011

September 1, 2011 - South Kingstown, RI - Offering two workshops in September, All That Matters, a yoga and wellness educational center located at 315 Main St., Wakefield, proudly welcomes back this former Cellist player, Julliard School of Music graduate, and current New York City resident. Helen Kim, a nationally-recognized financial coach of individuals and groups, is scheduled to visit Southern Rhode Island once again.

The first workshop, Conscious Wealth - Steps to Money Health, runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Friday, September 23, 2011. Relationship with money is one of the longest and most important ones that people will have in their lifetime, and does not need to wear on them financially, spiritually, emotionally, or physically. Money is one of the greatest teachers in life; when we disconnect from our money, we disconnect from ourselves. This workshop offers a safe space for participants to begin exploring how they can integrate money and meaning into their lives, making up for lost income, time, and energy given over to financial anxiety. They will leave this experiential workshop with five immediate action steps they can take to begin creating more money in an authentic and peaceful way and costs just $25.00

The second workshop, scheduled from 12:00-3:30pm on Saturday, September 24, 2011, is called Business Health Bootcamp. This workshop prepares business owners in a mini "bootcamp" setting, focusing on on five basic financial tenets. The first is "Your Money Relationship", which has the end goal of understanding money beliefs; the origin of them is crucial if business owners are to create a profitable and consciously-run business.

Another is "Knowing Your Client". Many business owners forget that they can decide who they want to work with. Owners will discover how they can get their ideal client, making their marketing efforts more efficient. The tenet of having an "Ascending Pipeline"; participants discover how to create a stable foundation for their business so they can both live happily ever after. The final basic belief is "Easy Products You Can Create in Less Than 30 Days". In today's world it is relatively easy to pull a product together, if people have the information that can transform lives. Students will learn what options they have to do this and get their product up and out in less than 30 Days.

This workshop includes opportunities for "Hot Seat" sessions and mock business conversations that help business owners learn how to take a client from curious to committed; the class costs $75.00. With either or both workshops, participants will acquire a deeper understanding of what money means to them; realize the emotional triggers they use to make decisions and choices for their business and walk away with simple money management tools.

Helen Kim speaks, gives workshops, and coaches groups and individuals about Conscious Wealth. She combines over twenty years of professional experience in business development, career counseling, and management with her personal journey to financial well-being. Helen is dedicated to helping people gain clarity around their relationship with money so they make conscious financial decisions that stimulate their personal economy. She works with individuals and groups helping them raise their consciousness through the portal of money. Visit Helen Kim's web site at www.yourmoneyrelationship.com.
