In the last quarter of 2008 the market took a dive that stopped many electronics recyclers. Used Electronics specifically Computers, Laptops, printers and other electronic office equipment sales dropped significantly. This all made sence since other markets failed as well. The price dropping began in most sales for close to everything. Why would someone want used equipment when the pricing dropped so low for new. Well it ends up that no one was buying anything. The other problem with this is manufacturing also went down. This meant that plastics, metals and other residual parts/pieces from electronic scrap was not wanted for reuse in the manufacturing process. Warehouses of electronic scrap are filling up. We have to keep going to push the market and encourage recycling and all of its efforts to get it moving again.
We spent too much time trying to get the message out to promote proper recycling for this recession to knock it down. It is more important now, more than ever, for you to promote recycling. We ask that you consider Business Essentials Service Team, LLC to assist you with the internal programs you created, were going to create or want to create now. We will support schools, business, municipalities and anyone else who wants to make sure that we do not revert back to the trash can.
Laws are finally in place to force the prevention of landfilling. This recycling for reuse company is small and we are struggling. Help us and we will help you and work with you to develop affordable options to divert electronic scrap from landfills while promoting reuse for those who need it or want it.
