There are, of course, considerations for deploying these phones if not followed, could result in poor connections. The VPN Remote phones are standard 5610 or 5620 phones running VPN firmware. A typical VPN tunnel is created from the VPN Remote phone to the edge router (VPN device*) of the mail office. A VPN router is not  required at the remote site.
