Colour Tile

We recently moved to North Port Florida and started to remodel our home. We started with the floors in our home and set out looking for a place to buy laminate and tile flooring. We came across a little place called Colour Tile, which is located at 3036 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. When we walked through the front doors of the store we were met by the owners, Randy Byrd and Derrick Simons. They immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. They helped with our design and also figuring out exactly what we needed. They both have a great sense of humor and made shopping at their store a real pleasurable experience. You have to actually go into the store to see all the wonderful flooring they have and to meet these two gentlemen in person, to see what I am talking about. As far as choices of tile, laminate, hard wood and carpet, they have too much to choose from. I had a very difficult time picking out what I wanted because there were so many choices that I liked. They went above and beyond to help me pick out the flooring that would be right for the project that we were working on. Once again, you have to actually go into the store to see all the choices that you have in flooring. It is now July 2006 and we have completed most of our flooring projects. We have purchased all our flooring from Colour Tile and if and when we move, we will purchase our flooring and shower tile through them. Colour Tile has very decent prices and you have a range to pick from that will fit any budget. Randy and Derrick take the extra time to walk you through everything they have in the store to make sure you are happy with the product you take home with you. Any tile that we ordered was in their store within a day or two, which we thought was remarkable. We looked at several places in the surrounding area for tile before we came to Colour Tile. There was not one store that we walked into that made us feel as welcome and that we came first, like the owners of Colour Tile made us feel. They found out that my daughter was building an Habitat for Humanity House and they donated some tile to her new home. They have never even met her, but they went the generous extra mile to help someone out. You don’t find to many people that will do that today.
