Community Counseling and Assessment Clinic

The Community Counseling and Assessment Clinic, conveniently located on Southern Miss’ Hattiesburg campus, is pleased to announce expanded career counseling services for the Hattiesburg area. If you or someone you know is feeling stressed about your future, uncertain you chose the right career, or in need of job search skills in these trying economic times, career counseling can be helpful. Career counseling typically begins with a brief vocational assessment to identify a client’s interests and generate ideas for career exploration, followed by individualized feedback and support through the job search process. The Community Counseling and Assessment Clinic provides affordable, quality psychological services to the University of Southern Mississippi and greater Hattiesburg communities. As the training clinic of the Counseling Psychology graduate programs at Southern Miss, we are able to offer a full range of psychological services at a fraction of what they would cost in the community. Our counselors are graduate students working under the supervision of licensed or license-eligible psychologists.
