Weight Loss Tip #3: Find the Right Exercise for You

    Find an exercise you enjoy.  If you don't enjoy it, you won't do it.  As part of a weight loss plan, the purpose of exercise is to burn calories.  However, most exercise regimens break down into two categories:  cardio/aerobic and strength/weight training.  The body needs both.

    A chiropractor once told me that the exercises done in yoga incorporate both.  The deep breathing makes it aerobic, and many of the poses develop strength without sacrificing flexibility.  It's also low-impact, which protects the joints.

    Experiment with various exercises to find the ones that fit you and your body type, and incorporate them into your weight loss plan.
