Hotel Seward would like to introduce the most resent addition to their already warm, friendly staff and ownership.  Cody! Cody is a miniature longhair dachshund.  Cody doesn't see himself as a dog but rather the hotel mascot and professional greeter, to His hotel.  Cody was a rescue dog and weighed only 6 pounds when he was given to us.  He's now 11 pounds and full of energy (when he's not sleeping) and you will hear him jingling through the Hotel hallways when you come to visit. 

Cody would like to put out a warm paw of welcome to his four pawed friends and remind their parents, Hotel Seward is dog and pet friendly.

Hotel Seward, located Downtown in Historic Seward, is again proud to be one of the 2009 Silver Salmon derby sponsors.  Hotel Seward is known for being the Best hotel in Seward, with it's inviting wildlife filled lobby, history displays, comfortable rooms, and warm friendly staff,  Hotel Seward is the place to stay during Seward's silver salmon derby.  Each year tens of thousands of Silver salmon (Coho) return to during July- September, to spawn in the steams flowing into Resurrection Bay, and be caught by eager anglers.   Seward's Silver Salmon Derby begins August 8 and runs though August 16.  tickets are $10 per day or $50 for the entire derby.   Prizes are awarded by weight with the 1 prize going to the heaviest fish, as well as other prizes including a tagged fish qualifies for a $50,000.00 cash prize.
