Max N-Fuze Multi-Vitamin with Nano Activators

Posted 08:22 AM March 29, 2009

Do you diligently take your vitamins every day in hopes of improving or maintaining your health?

Do you know if your Vitamins work?

Getting the right nutrients on a daily basis is very difficult. Soils are depleted of vital trace elements, factory farming practices and over-processing has drastically reduced the nutrients available from food. Vitamin and mineral supplements have long been the solution but most are not absorbed into your body’s cells.

Most Vitamins exit your body without ever being utilized.

Decades ago, taking any dietary supplement was accepted as a novel way to give your body what it needs. We now know that just because you take a dietary supplement does not mean that your cells are efficiently absorbing the nutrients

Max N-Fuze uses the latest in nanotechnology to provide near-total and rapid bioavailability of its range of food-based vitamins and minerals that support the body's production and function of it's own internal antioxidants.

Put out the Fires of Inflammation!

Posted 07:02 AM March 04, 2009

Put out the Fires of Inflammation!

Inflammation has been around as long as man. Early Egyptian, Chinese and Greek writing used symbols of heat to describe it. Fire pretty much describes the heat, tenderness and swelling that accompany an inflamed wound.

Acute inflammation is a process that protects us against infection and injuries. But it has a beginning and an end. Chronic inflammation is where inflammation is prolonged, as if the “off” switch has quit working.

Arthritis, asthma, allergies, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, eczema, inflammatory bowel disease, lupus, Crohn’s disease and psoriasis all have inflammation as a common denominator. Floyd H. Chilton, PhD, writes, “These are all inflammatory diseases that occur when the body’s own defense system turns against itself.”1

In his book, Inflammation Nation
, Chilton states that “approximately half of all Americans suffer from an inflammatory disease, and even more of us are at risk.”2

What Causes Chronic Inflammation?

Chilton argues that affluence plays a key role in the pandemic of inflammatory diseases. If that sounds absurd to you, there is evidence to back up this theory. Epidemiological statistics following the reunification of East Germany showed that both children and adults who lived in poverty in East Germany with poor health care suffered less asthma, allergy and hay fever than the children of more affluent West Germany with a higher standard of living and better medical care.3,4
One small country, some might argue. How about a study of 56 countries? The International Study of Asthma and Allergy in Childhood (ISAAC) followed of half a million children ages 6 and 7 and 13- 14 finding that the highest prevalence of asthma symptoms was found in affluent, English-speaking countries. The poorer countries of Eastern Europe, Russia, China, Indian and Ethiopia had the least symptoms. These findings also held true for hay fever and eczema.5
Some researchers believe that diet plays a huge role in inflammation and that the more affluent nations have more access to unhealthy foods—fast
foods, for instance.
It is finally recognized in the mainstream media that our diets are out of balance between omega 3 fatty acids and the prevalent omega 6 and 9 fatty acids.

Dr. Joseph Mercola has long commented that:
“Generally our diet contains far too much omega 6 fats. Experts looking at the dietary ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids suggest that in early human history the ratio was about 1:1. Currently most Americans eat a dietary ratio that falls between 20:1 and 50:1. The optimal ratio is most likely closer to the original ratio of 1:1. For most of us this means greatly reducing the omega-6 fatty acids we consume and increasing the amount of omega-3 fatty acids. (True)
Please recognize that we get ALL the omega-6 and omega-9 fat we need from food. We do NOT need to take any supplements for these fats. “6 (Western diets have an overabundance of omega 6 fats.)
The refined carbohydrates that are at the core of the Standard American Diet (SAD in more ways than one!) are quite similar to the corn fed cattle to “fatten them up.”

“Diabesity?”

A Newsweek special health issue stated that the “correlation between type 2 diabetes and obesity is so well established that some researchers refer to the two collectively as ‘diabesity.’ “7 Those who know how fat cells produce messenger hormones like leptin and adiponectin will not be surprised to find out that fat cells also produce inflammatory messengers that increase inflammation in the body. The more fat cells one has, the more inflammatory messengers will be produced.

The Newsweek article stated that “exercise and weight loss work to reduce inflammation in the fat cells and liver. And a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and omega-3 fatty acids tones down inflammation overall.”8

Dr. Ron Rosedale,
world-renowned expert on leptin, suggests that people should feel free to “eat good quality fats such as avocados, raw/dry-roasted nuts, olive oil, etc., along with non-starchy vegetables, such as salad greens, kale, cucumbers and broccoli. Eat adequate amounts of protein for your lean body size . . . and minimize your intake of starchy and sugary foods.”9

The Role of Antioxidants

Neuroscientist James Joseph of Tufts University says that “inflammation is the evil twin of oxidation. Where you find one, you find the other.”10 Along with increasing omega-3 fatty acids (found in wild salmon not farmed), increasing antioxidants into your life is vitally important.

Duane Graveline, MD, MPH, is a former USAF Flight Surgeon as well as a former NASA astronaut. He had to “unlearn” much of his medical training when it came to understanding the real cause of cardiovascular disease. He wrote:
“Now we find that cholesterol seemingly has little to nothing to do with cardiovascular disease. It is the most important biochemical in our bodies. Our brains and cells are absolutely dependent upon abundant supplies of cholesterol. Inflammation it now appears is the true cause of cardiovascular disease, according to many researchers.
Longitudinal studies have shown that statins seem to work their magic not because of cholesterol manipulation but by an inherent and previously unsuspected, anti-inflammatory action. Inflammation and oxidation are the latest buzz-words. Inflammation is associated with a tendency for “free radical” formation. Antioxidants are necessary to neutralize
these free radicals by giving them an electron or two.”11

Eating right, exercise and proper supplementation—could it really be this simple?

We think YES!

Max N-Fuze Catalalase levels in Graying Hair

Posted 08:58 AM March 02, 2009

Here is an interesting article from WebMD about why hair turns Gray !

Why Hair Goes Gray
Study Blames a Chain Reaction That Makes Hair Bleach Itself From the Inside Out
By Miranda Hitti

Scientists may have figured out why hair turns gray, and their finding may open the door to new anti-graying strategies.

New research shows that hair turns gray as a result of a chemical chain reaction that causes hair to bleach itself from the inside out.

The process starts when there is a dip in levels of an enzyme called catalase. That catalase shortfall means that the hydrogen peroxide that naturally occurs in hair can't be broken down. So hydrogen peroxide builds up in the hair, and because other enzymes that would repair hydrogen peroxide's damage are also in short supply, the hair goes gray.

Putting the brakes on that chemical chain reaction "could have great implications in the hair graying scenario in humans," write the researchers, who included Karin Schallreuter, a professor clinical and experimental dermatology at England's University of Bradford.

The study appears online in The FASEB Journal; the FASEB is the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology.

Graceful Aging: A Gift from MaxGXL and Max N-Fuze

Posted 04:00 PM February 04, 2009

No one seems to appreciate getting old. No doubt because of where it leads! Woody Allen quipped, “I don’t want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.”

Aging celebrities fight this process with face-freezing injections and plastic surgery. But wise men and women understand that while you can’t stop the clock, you can slow it down. These people look beyond the symptoms to take action against the cause of aging.

Here’s how two PhD researchers define aging:

“Aging in mammals is...a decline in physiological functions resulting from cumulative damage to tissues that overwhelms the body’s natural ability to repair them.”1

And what causes the majority of this damage? UC Berkeley professor of biochemistry and molecular biology, Bruce N. Ames, stated that “The degenerative diseases of aging...are increasingly found to have, in good part, an oxidative origin.”2

We can’t live without oxygen but we need to realize oxygen reactions generate oxidants or free radicals. Dr. Ames also stated that each cell of the body is hit by free radicals 10,000 times every day.3

Unlike other injuries, you cannot feel what is happening with free radical damage. Perhaps we need to consider this shocking comparison from a study published in The Proceedings of the National Academy of Science:

“Oxidant by-products of normal metabolism cause extensive damage to DNA, protein, and lipid. We argue that this damage (the same as that produced by radiation) is a major contributor to aging and to degenerative diseases of aging...”4 Oxidative damage is as harmful as radiation damage!

Identifying the Culprits

The following radicals are responsible for oxidative damage done in the body:

Superoxide, alkoxyl peroxide, hydroxyl, nitric oxide, hydroperoxyl, singlet oxygen, hypochlorous acid (bleach!), hydrogen peroxide

Free radicals are atoms or molecules that have an unpaired electron desperately seeking to become a pair. When the unpaired electron steals an electron to be balanced again, a new free radical is formed creating a chain reaction that can cause biological damage.

Free radical attacks can be directed at the outside of a cell. Cell membranes are made of unsaturated lipids (fats). Lipid molecules are very susceptible to free radical or oxidative damage. If the cell wall is damaged badly, it becomes hardened (lipid peroxidation) and the cell cannot get nutrients in or waste material out. And the cell won’t be able to get signals from other cells so it can perform its function.

Free radical attacks also occur within a cell and perhaps are more insidious. Every cell contains double-strand DNA which provides chemical instructions for what the cell is to do. This cellular DNA resides in the nucleus of cells.

The “energy factories” of each cell are called mitochondria where the energy to fuel the cell is created. The mitochondria have a single strand DNA, called “mitochondria DNA” or mtDNA. In Dr. Keller’s glutathione monograph he writes, “...cellular DNA has developed multiple defenses against free radical damage but these protections are absent or have not yet developed in mtDNA.”5 What protects the delicate spiral of mtDNA? The powerful antioxidant glutathione is one protector.

The hydroxyl radical causes no end of cellular and DNA damage but even worse, it “cascades.” If this free radical is not “quenched” or stopped by an antioxidant, a carbon-centered radical that reacts with oxygen to create the peroxyl radical which then can react with other fatty acids or proteins. One researcher has described how peroxynitrite, another cascading free radical, attacks an enzyme crucial to the energy cycle, causing a drop in ATP (the energy that fuels your cells).6 You WILL feel this loss of energy.

Dr. Keller explains that during the energy creation process in the mitochondria, the superoxide free radical is produced. The antioxidant enzyme called superoxide dismutase (SOD) coverts it to a hydroxyl group and hydrogen peroxide, both of which are free radicals themselves. That is the first step to neutralizing this radical. But superoxide dismutase now needs more antioxidant help to finish the job.

Antioxidants: Heroes to the Rescue!

Thankfully, our bodies provide many powerful antioxidants to halt or slow the damage done by free radicals. You’ve heard of the antioxidants we can take into our bodies like vitamin A, E and C

There are four powerful antioxidants actually created inside the body:

• Glutathione (GSH)

• Superoxide dismutase (SOD)

• Catalase (CAT)

• Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)

Superoxide dismutase starts breaking down the highly damaging superoxide free radical but needs glutathione and catalase to finish the job by neutralizing the hydroxyl and hydrogen peroxide radicals.

Glutathione has often been called the most important intracellular defense against free radical damage. But Dr. Keller says its most important claim to fame is that glutathione “alone in the antioxidant world, regenerates (recycles) directly and indirectly, a variety of other antioxidants including vitamin C, CoQ10, vitamin E and vitamin A.”7 Catalase converts hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen. Coenzyme Q10 or CoQ10 provides hydrogen atoms to reduce (quench) the peroxyl and the alkoxyl radical.

The Immense Value of MaxGXL and Max N-Fuze

What does your body need in order to have not just free radical protection but SUPER free radical protection? You need the building blocks of glutathione. You need the other three endogenous (created in the body) antioxidants: superoxide dismutase, catalase and CoQ10.

You need the vitamins and minerals that are co-factors in the utilization of these antioxidants. Here is a “for instance.” Substances that assist in the production of glutathione and the five antioxidant glutathione enzymes are called co-factors. Important glutathione co-factors include the trace mineral selenium, vitamins B1 and B2, vitamin C, B6, B12, folic acid, vitamin E and other micronutrients.

Can you see how MaxGXL and Max N-Fuze work synergistically to provide nutrients and needed antioxidants for your increased health?

Are You aware of the risk of Low Glutathione Levels

Posted 08:11 PM January 29, 2009

Did you know glutathione is the most powerful, prevalent antioxidant in your body? Increasing your glutathione level will naturally:

  • increase your energy
  • detoxify your body
  • strengthen your immune system

It is pointless to purchase supplements that merely contain glutathione, because the digestive system breaks down ingested glutathione, not allowing it to be absorbed into your system. However, now there’s a way to get the proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione. Click the link below to fill out a free, no-obligation survey to request your own FREE informational packet to learn how!
