Dynamic Web Pages

For people who are interested in having a great Web presence, they might want to consider creating some dynamic Web pages. Not everyone knows what these are. In this case, ‘dynamic’ is not just a word for something great. It actually is a designation that means that the Web pages are interactive. This can come from two different styles of Web design scripting: server-side and client-side. These both have pros and cons, and they can also be used together on some sites.

Server-Side Scripting

Server-side scripting allows changing designs between Web pages. This is affected by a lot of things, including which browsers are being used and the data that is posted. Since the information is collected by and stored on the server, however, there is always a chance that individuals can hack in and find information that they have no right to. Some search engines block these kinds of sites because of this concern, but they can generally be used without a problem.

Client-Side Scripting

Having client-side scripting is a lot better in the eyes of most people, but not everyone feels this way. There are generally more options with this type of scripting, but there are also problems. Not all browsers support it and the information is only stored on the client’s computer, so it can’t be used for statistical analysis. If a user has scripting languages disabled, he also won’t be able to access the page.

There are a lot of concerns with both types of scripting, but there are also a lot of benefits. In order to avoid problems that might occur and reap the largest number of benefits from either type of scripting – or a combination of both – it is best to find a company that handles Web design. Doing this can ensure that your site will work correctly and that your customers will keep coming back.
