Welcome and Thank You for Stopping By!
Where it all began?
Ken and Melinda Clayton, of Washington Township, Ohio, both believe in hard work, family, fun and new adventures. Well, 8 years ago, Ken and Melinda started a screen printing business. A few years later they added sublimation and digital printing. Because sublimation and digital transfers are better suited for their target market, they sold the screen printing equipment and concentrated on personalized short run personalized items. This is an ever changing industry and new products and processes are evolving daily. Learning and marketing the business has become a fulltime part-time business. Together, along with family, the Clayton's marketed to the local schools and sports teams, restaurants, churches, reunion committees and even to their own family and friends. Within months, although with already have their own full time positions, Ken and Melinda worked into the night designing and creating t-shirts, hats, mugs, aprons, buttons and more! So many folks have asked, you already have a job why put yourselves through this? Well, the answer was simple. Ken and Melinda both enjoy seeing other people smile when they are handed something special. Ken and Melinda believe in helping out the community, groups and clubs to better them and enhance what they already have. Besides that, Ken and Melinda enjoy working together.
Well, from design and sublimation, came many weekends of art and craft shows and competitions. Along with the family, the Clayton's were non stop during the Spring, Summer, and Fall weekends showing off their products and always questioning the crowds on what they would like to see different. They would travel as far as, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and Florida with their items. From wanting to take care of their customers, Ken and Melinda decided to take on jewelry making to wrapped chocolates to hot / cold pads to candles to finally adding…
Wooden Roses and other flower arrangements to their product line. Why Wooden Roses? Ken and Melinda have a total commitment to quality, and in their experience and surveying their customers, the roses (that will last forever) have established relationships with customers that will last a lifetime! No two roses are alike and that is just how it should be. Each is a piece of art, so to speak. The Wooden Roses will brighten anyone's day if it is to say: "Nice Job" or "Congratulations" or "Just Because" or "I Love You". The Roses are unique and very profitable fundraisers for schools, groups, clubs, and teams. And again, they love to help the community where they both grew up!
Each bouquet design and wreath is created by Melinda Clayton. She is creating new and unique arrangements everyday. Contact Melinda at anytime, if you have an idea that you would like Melinda to incorporate into your order. She takes great pride in her work and wants to make sure you are pleased with your roses.
So, now, Ken and Melinda's passion has now become a business for you! Because of the overwhelming demand of their product line and the growth of their business, they asked Chuck and Marian Aliaga to be their associates. Why did they decide on the Aliaga's? Chuck and Marian both love to be with people and seeing their smiles and succeeding! The Aliaga's have played an important role in the business of marketing, creating, and pounding the pavements at the various events and shows. Chuck and Marian continue to be part of Clayton vision of bringing in new customers as well as maintaining past customers. If the couples are not together, you may see one at one side of town while the other is at the other side of town! Both, the Clayton's and the Aliaga's can be found at the 2nd Street Market in Dayton, Ohio every Saturday. Be on the look out and check back often as new Events and Shows are posted to the website.
