MOJO Skate is introducing Footbags made of ultrasuede and filled with sand.  Our new official footbags come in many colors and designs. Here are a few:

The SANDMASTER

The SandMaster is a succulent 14-panel footbag (hacky sack) made of a super soft and tough synthetic suede, and filled with sand. The new and improved outer cover material, tighter stitching and unique corner closures increase its durability and sand retention. The SandMaster footbag's 14-panels insure this model will stay extremely round for consistent kicks combined with the stickiest of stalls. **This footbag comes with the World Footbag Association's highest recommendation** "It takes a kicking, and keeps on sticking"!

THE SHARK

From the creative mind of master craftsman Allan Petersen comes the stylishly unique Shark footbag. A three-panel zig-zag design this sand-filled collectable footbag is awesome for tricks. Go Skateboarding Day (GSD), held on Saturday June 21, is the official holiday of skateboarding. The holiday began June 21, 2004 as an excuse for skateboarders to skip their obligations, go skateboarding and have fun!

Founded by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC), Go Skateboarding Day gives passionate skateboarders who embody skateboarding, as well as those who are simply inspired by skateboarding, the opportunity to drop everything and get on a skateboard. GSD is a cooperative of decentralized events that take place around the globe. Skateboard retailers, manufacturers, skateparks, distributors, organizations and individuals of all colors, creeds, and attitudes hold skateboarding events to celebrate the holiday.

GSD originated as the day for skateboarders to have fun, to raise awareness about the issues we face, to show the world what skateboarding is really all about, to reclaim our culture and to define skateboarding as the rebellious, creative celebration of independence it continues to be. In the three years since that first celebration, the holiday continues to grow, but the mission remains the same: Have fun, go skateboarding!

Real Encounter Coming to Unicoi High School April 23rd, 2008 Wednesday!

REAL ENCOUNTER OUTREACH is a ministry birthed from a deep desire to see a genuine spiritual transformation in the individual lives of the emerging generation.  Real Encounter utilizes their skills in Motorcycle Stunt Riding, Freestyle Motocross, Skateboarding, BMX, DJ and Multi-Media simply as a means of connection with the culture.  These elements are simply a platform but make no mistake, Jesus Christ has center-stage in their lives as individuals and in their message as a Ministry.  Real Encounter offers many different options to meet the needs of each church and community. One of the most effective events that they share is the Real Encounter Crusade which is a 3 day event including school assemblies and culminating with an outreach event to the entire community.
