Vintage and Antique jewelry is our passion.We are located in New York but buy.... and sell all over the world. As collectors, we never buy anything we wouldn’t love to wear and keep forever. But the truth is, jewelry is meant to be worn and not just appreciated, so we discipline our selves to sell, sell, sell. It is our greatest pleasure to pass one of our treasure finds on to a customer who won’t just love it as we do, but also love wearing it.  Our specialty is Victorian jewelry, especially Whitby jet and the other materials of the era, which were developed to copy it. These include French jet, which was black faceted glass of the period, vulcanite, gutta percha, bog oak and pressed horn. We are no less passionate about Art Nouveau and Art Deco jewelry, which, quite honestly, we wear until it sells. Since fabulous Victorian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco jewelry is much more difficult to both find and separate from we branched out to the next series of innovative materials developed to create cheaper substitutes for more costly products, such as Celluloid, Bakelite and other vintage plastics. These have wonderful histories and, unlike Victorian jewelry, abound with color. We recently also developed an appreciation for the designer jewelry of the 30s and 40s by Miriam Haskell, Trifari, Panetta, Lisner, Coro and also the artistry of Ciner, Mary DeMarco and Hobe. We also love everything silver. Perhaps, though, some of the most fabulous pieces are the unsigned ones that are simply ab fab and must have. That’s the joy of collecting, which we invite all to share.
