Suspended ceilings or drop ceiling tiles get dirty from airborne dust, or stained from water leaks, or nicotine smoke etc.. You don't need to replace the tiles when this occurs. There isn't much difficulty in painting a suspended ceiling. Many prefer to use a primer finish to paint the whole ceiling, metal grid and tiles alike.
You can paint a suspended ceiling flat black to make it "disappear", or a color that will compliment the decor. You are not stuck with white only for color choice.
Fix the water stained tile to match or blend with the rest of the tiles. Read "Painting Ceiling Tiles" for more information.

I have bought an all purpose solvent based wood treatment. What can I use to change/add colour to it? Everything I try won't mix.

Years ago I had all the desks and file cabinets redone in my office. The guy did 12 desks and 30 cabinets in one night, in the office. No overspray. Was a magnetic process? What is it called?
