Seniors often fall victim to identity theft.  Identity thieves often target seniors because they perceive seniors as being naive about what goes on around them.  The helpful young man at the ATM machine may not be a helpful young man but an identity thief trying to get your PIN number.  A trusted caregiver or hired helper may be using your identity.  Identity theft happens in many ways and it is important to know how it happens and what you can do to lower your risk.
