If you’re holding a special event, one thing that you might want to include in your pictures is a few group shots. Here are some tips to get a great group shot.
Everyone knows to say “Cheese” to get everyone to smile. But sometimes, it takes a little more than getting everyone to smile at the same time to get a great group photo.
Use different levels
Our eyes like variation when looking at photos, so get some people sitting, some kneeling, some standing. Look for props to use to give direct angles or levels.
Look down
Looking down can sometimes is a more flattering view. Change the view by standing on a chair, ladder, or balcony to shoot down at the group for a more interesting perspective.
Give them something to do
Depending on the occasion, have them jump at the same time, or look as someone in the group. Kids love it if you say make a funny face.
Eyes open, people
Have everyone close their eyes until you say, open! Then take the photo as you say it.
After the event, if you want a way to remember it, call "Tears of Joy Video" and have us create a special video montage of the occasion. (877) 887-8658 http://www.tearsofjoyvideo.com
Or better yet, have us create a Montage for the occasion!
