Customer Review Convert Screen Room to Living Space

Gentlemen:

This note is just to reaffirm what I wrote on your post-inspection Customer Comment Form.

I am completely satisfied with the job.  Tou didwhat I asked you to do.  You were able to translate my ideas into workable engineering drawings and ultimately into wood and metal, wallboard and plaster.  In one or two instances where I was uncertain of exaclty what I wanted, you worked with me and made a couple of small changes "on the fly".

I want to make a couple of comments about your workers.  As you all know, salesmen, engineers, and site supervisors can all do a fine job of getting the ball rolling and keep it rolling, but in the end, it's the guys who do the trowelling and the sawing, the hammering, and the drilling who make the job go right or wrong in the end.  All of the people who showed up on my site at one time or another, probably a half-dozen or so, were well groomed, polite, consciencious, and obviously skilled.  Two in particular are worthy of special mention.

Bobby is an excellent man with a trowel.  He did our slab, and "mud" work.  The painter who I hired seperately said he had never seen such a good job as the one Bobby did on the sliding door in the bedroom.  I watched him do the work, and he took several days, a bit at a time, filling-in the area until you'd never know there had been a door there.

Mike is something else.  It seems there isn't much he can't do; demolition, framing, drywall, trim, windows, sills, etc.  More important, he can think and make adjustments when they are needed.  Like Bobby, he never took the attitude of "close enough".  It had to be exactly right every time.  Even on a day when his young daughter was ill at school, he stuck with the job until it was done -  right down to the cleanup.

Finally, they were both extremely sensitive to my concerns about dust and debris in the house, and did everything they could to minimize that problem.  In the end, it was much less of a problem than I had anticipated.

The bottom line is this, you're fortunate to have people of their skill and dedication working for you, and I'm glad I hired you for the job.

Best Regards,
Michael Morea
