Now is the time to bring in Cymbidiums or any orchids which have been outside for the summer. It's a good idea to treat for insects and slugs and snails before bringing indoors as warmer temperatures indoors will activate these creatures.

There are many orchids of which fall is their bloom time and a great thing to brighten up winter days. Paphiopetalums and some Phrags are just beginning to show their blooms as well as some of the fall blooming Cattleya Hybrid crosses. I also am beginning to see bloom spikes beginning on Phalaenopsis with the promis of spring blooms.

We have recently purchased a lagre block of Phragmipedium plants many of which are showing bloom spikes and all are now offered for sale. These are the newer Hybrids in shades of pink, red, orange, and many will also have long petals.

Hello! Valley Orchid Supply is in business in Westport WA.  We moved to Westport November 2005 , built a Greenhouse to accommodate the Orchids and moved the orchids from Puyallup January of 2006. This was a major project but all the orchids made the transition without hardly even noticing. I really think the orchids grow and bloom better here in Westport as the sun is more intense because there isn't the pollution in the air there was in Puyallup. In fact I really think there are more sunny days here than in Puyallup but then who's keeping track. The orchids like it!
