Service calls were on claims thru First American Home Warranty, and this was the third time this merchant has been referred by the warranty company and all three times they left with bad diagnosis and were horribly rude and and unprofessional. I've had to call the warranty service for a second opinion vendor each time, and those second folks found the problem and fixed it. This most recent visit resulted in the technician telling the warranty company that mice was the cause of the top of a relatively new Maytag washing machine tub being chewed up. I have no mice issues and that opinion seems out of their area of expertise. So I had to call the warranty folks for another vendor once again. They don't seem to want the business.
