A Diamond In The Ruff

What a wonderful and charming pet salon and boutique. We took our Westie tonite for grooming, and he looks beautiful. The groomers were charming and sensitive to our concerns. Our Westie and his parents had a wonderful experience. Thank you Crissy and your charming staff.

I have been having my dog groomed at A Diamond in the Ruff for over six months. She goes once a month and they have provided the best service and cuts she has ever gotten. I would recommend this place to anyone. The groomers are nothing but great with my dog!

Diamond in the Ruff is a wonderful place (and we dig the name!)! South Side really needed a service for its resident doggies and we love the space! Our spoiled dog, Jasmine, seems to enjoy her visits to Diamond in the Ruff and comes back shiny and beautiful and smiling ear-to-ear. We hope you never leave South Side!!!

I live an hour away from Southside, and enjoy making the trip in to A Diamond in the Ruff to see Chrissy. I have been taking my pets, (2) goldens, and a shitzhu to Chrissy for years. When she moved to Southside, I knew I didn't want to go anywhere else. She does an excellent job. She is very good with all of them. She especially was great working with my one, timid and nervous, golden retriever. I had attempted to have several other groomers work with her and neither the groomers, nor the dog were happy. Chrissy has been grooming her for years and the dog is now excited to go there. The products she uses make the dogs smell and feel great. She makes them beautiful. A diamond in the ruff is a great shop, and I really feel like the dogs all get pampered and special treatment when they are there. I often drop off three messy creatures, and I come back hours later to see my 3 pretty puppies . We all are always happy after our trip to A Diamond in the Ruff! Highly recommended!

This grooming center is just what South Side needs. The people running it are obvious dog-lovers, who treat the pets with care. There is fun merchandise to purchase, including home-made dog treats. A bowl of treats is out for the visiting dogs, along with fresh water. When I am out with my dogs and our path happens to go by the door, they run to the door and try to get in - memories of going there are very positive! When I take the dogs in, the dogs are asked to come to the back grooming area - the leash is off, and the dog makes the choice to enter. My dogs go easily and happily to the back on every visit there. While one of my dogs will go anywhere anytime, the other is shy and hesitant - and even she trots to the back with her tail high. That's the best endorsement possible in my mind - the dogs think it is A1!
