Let us address the lies. You have never seen Pastor Rourk rebuke the elderly. If grandma was acting like a mature older saint with some sense, she would still be a member. What mature christian comes in late every sunday and attempts to make room where the people who were on time are already sitting? This includes trying to move one of our oldest mothers down the pew. To put her reputation up against Pastor Rourk would be ludacris. Pastor Rourk sleeps good at night just like all the other Pastors in the city that have put this distraction out of their churches. No church anywhere lets you act a fool in the sanctuary. If you own a bible, read the teachings of Paul when he was establishing churches. (1 Tim 3:15) there is a time to praise God and a time to be quiet. Grandma could not figure this out. I actually think she is an engaging person but her actions in church just aint cute. Any time you seductively "wine" your hips and backside in front of men in a holy sanctuary during worship, you NEED to be openly addressed! Yes, he sat your grandmother down, however that was AFTER attempts of meeting with her about her "praise" on several occasions. But she continued to disrespect God's house. Why didn't you mention that part of the review??? When a church is distracted by certain actions that are not "decent" and in order, they need to be rebuked! I'm glad I can worship without HER interruptions! We love our pastor and first lady and stand behind them 100%! We will continue to pray for your grandmother...and you as well!! thank GOD for Jesus!!

Elder David C. Rourk Elder David C. Rourk is a long-time member of the executive board, and has served the church organization in many capacities. Elder Rourk, who has been the pastor of Adams Street Church Of God By Faith since 1974, was appointed to serve as the district elder of the Northwestern New York District four years later. He was tapped to serve on the executive board in 1991. He has served as the organization's executive secretary since 2003. His assignments as pastor have included Prayer House Crossroads and Sodus Center COGBF. Elder Rourk and his wife, Ruth, make their home in Rochester, N.Y. They have four children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In November 1999, Inter-faith Theological Institute and Seminary conferred Elder Rourk with an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree. I have known Pastor rourk all of my life. My father, the late D.L.Smith was his pastor and now Elder Rouk is my pastor. I have not met a more honorable man.
