We bought a sleeper sofa along with an indentical love seat at Lenny's Furniture in Naples, FL 4 months ago and, granted, we we bought it "as is" - they said it was a closeout - but the cushions on the sofa are sinking into the sleeper and the love seat is just fine. There doesn't seem to be any support for the cushions on the sofa. Lenny's says because they sold it as is they have no responsibility and American says we need to have a technician look at it and to call Lenny's back. It will be interesting to see how all this pans out. By Barb Hyder on January 16, 2012 at 10:45 AM
WHY DO YOU HAVE A PHONE AT THIS SO CALLED BUSINESS NO WILL TALK TO YOU ABOUT THIS SO CALLED STUFF YOU BUT OUT THERE TO BE SOLD WITH A COMPANY NAME ON IT AMERICAN FURNITURE....CHANGE IT TO RIP OFF OR RIPPED UP...... By Deborah Comer on December 23, 2010 at 07:40 AM
I Bought a sofa from Vaule City Furniture, made by you American Furniture, I have had it for 3 years now. Value city replaced cushions for me after a year falling apart. The new cushions lasted about another year again falling apart at all seams, I dont have small childern jumping on it or anything. Value city told me you as the manufacture no longer made replacements for this couch, after only owning it for three years we are very dissatisified with this furniture. Would not recommend you to anyone. By Michele Miller on February 09, 2010 at 09:22 AM
I bought a sofa second hand that was 2 years old and cost over $1800. new. The fabric wrinkles and the sofa is very poorly made. The stuffing in the cushions has broken down. I am glad I was not the first owner and I am glad that I did not pay much for it. By Linda Osterman on January 03, 2010 at 11:42 AM
I bougth a recliner chair for my mom Rosa and it look so pretty but in less than a month it broke completly one of the arms fell down the fabric after she sitting on it ripped (tear) the frame colapse and now 3 months latter no one can sitt on it. Bottom line we where rob. The sad thing is that is made in the U.S.A. a place that pride's on great quality and I must say that american products are the best in the world. But american furniture is killing that and eventually will hurt my country's reputation and it's economy. As americans lets show this thiefs that the custumer satisfaction is THE PRIORITY in bussiness. lets close them out and show to other's that stealing from the consumer is a risk. I have had nothing but problems with your furniture that I paid top dollar for it is junk in my eyes. I bought a inline sofa recliner and had nothing but problems with the recliner mechanism tearing the fabric. The fabric also tears alot and the stitching is poor also on it. I would not recommend anyone to buy your product because I get the same run around trying to get it replaced. By Gary Guenther on February 05, 2008 at 04:59 PM
