Ami Japanese Restaurant

We just returned home after eating a wonderful lunch at Ami. I always read the restaurant reviews before we try out new restaurants. Most all of the reviews have raved about how good the food is at Ami. I'm writing this review to tell you that the reviews didn't do justice as to how great the food is. My husband ordered the regular sampler plate which has 7 huge rolls on it. He is a big man and can eat enough for two regular-sized men. He was barely able to finish all 7 of the delicious sushi rolls because they were so big. I had the shrimp tempura. The fried batter on the 10 shrimp was light and fluffy and was not greasy in the slightest. The miso served with the shrimp had a delicate flavor and was delicious. A large bowl of rice was served on the side. We also had an order of steamed edemame (soy beans) which were served hot and lightly salted. Our bill came to almost $40 for lunch -- but what a treat! We will definitely eat there again.
