I would have gave a 10 but 5 is the highest rating..My hair is amazing!!! When you get your hair cut at Amore for Hair it just makes you a better person.

When I went to amore for hair to get a touch up on my permanent eyeliner, I was pleased with Hope's gentle touch. It came out beautifully, and no further touch ups needed: and I never have to line my eyes every day!

Continuation: From the stylist chair you are able to view the koi pond. It was so relaxing and peaceful. From the moment I met Hope, I was at ease and fully trusted her. She took the time to listen to me, she gave her thoughts on my hair and what would be flattering for me. I gave her complete control. She gives a head massage with the shampoo that is out of this world. As she blew dry and styled my hair, she explained what she was doing and showed me how to do it so I could recreate the look she had just given me. No one has ever done that before. I left her shop feeling like a princess and confident I could do it myself. It is a one stylist shop and she works by appointment only. I highly recommend Hope for your next hair/stylist need.

Best hair experience ever!!
I was desperate for a haircut and a highlight yesterday, Monday 2/8. I called every salon in Benicia only to be met with answering machines and disconnected announcements. When I went to the 2nd page of listings I found Amore for Hair that had a review. It was positive so I called. I got an answering machine, however, there was another number given on the message so I called it. Hope, the owner of the shop, answered. I told her what I wanted/needed and she told me that she didn't work on Mondays but she would be working next Monday. I told her that "I was really looking for something to be done today". She heard the desperation in my voice and said "You know what, I should just do this. Can you come now?" I was over the moon. She gave me very good directions and I went right to her shop in Martinez, which is in a quaint little building behind her house. There is a beautiful garden with a path that winds back to the shop. I arrived at the lovely Amore for Hair Salon for my permanent eyelining appointment with trepidation. I had had my eyelids tattooed by machine, and it had completely faded, and the memory of the pain was awful. The proprietor hope reassured me that It would be different this time, and that she was going to be doing it by hand. It was painless, and the results are beautiful.

All hard work pays off...

I love my new permanent eyeliner. It didn't hurt like I thought it would. Not like a tattoo. It just feels kind of like a scratch. I get a lot of compliments and I look great. I recommend Hope. The salon is really nice

Everywhere I go people ask about my hair... how it lays, the colors, everything! This woman GETS it! I gave her free reign to do as she thought best and I am now a loyal customer of 3+ years. I am Hope's girl but I watch Candice and she also is workin it!

Finally hair stylists who listen. Candice and Hope have the rare ability to listen to your description of your dream style and color and then make it happen. They also do fantastic eyebrow waxing.

You don't have to go to a more expensive salon to get first class hair styling. This little business is a jewel in downtown Martinez. I found it during jury duty and come all the way from Lafayette to get my hair done
