Angelo Gallo Guitars is my favorite place to buy guitars on Long Island! From their great, competitive prices, to their huge selection, I never leave this store empty-handed. The owner knows everything about guitars and music, and is very helpful.
I recommend this store to all of my friends, and, now, to you. By Kyle Gleeson on November 06, 2009 at 07:11 PM
The first thing I noticed when I entered Angelo Gallo Guitars over two years ago, was that the showroom sparkled like a Rolls Royce dealership! Every instrument, no matter what pricepoint, was beautifully displayed and meticulously maintained. That is always a sure indication to me of the quality of service a customer can expect to receive, and Angelo Gallo has never disappointed. He takes the time necessay to discover the needs of his clients and to set them up with customized solutions - and I can personally say there is great follow up after the sale, unlike the more impersonal treatment one is likely to receive in larger retail outlets. It's great to have a local merchant who excells at providing superior customer service and has truly earned the patronage of his surrounding communities. By John Barden on June 30, 2009 at 01:28 PM
I hope whoever is reading this review has not signed up for lessons here. My son has been taking lessons for 7 weeks. He is sick today so I called to say he would be missing the lesson. I was told that this was last minute and I would be charged for the lesson (I called 2 hours before. The policy is it can be canceled 24 hours before). I get that a policy needs to be in place since they can't have people canceling all the time, however, as I was stating that this was the first time I canceled and I couldn't afford paying for a lesson he wasn't taking, a rude man whom I believe was the owner, got on the phone to state that if I didn't like the policy, I should take my son elsewhere! The whole phone conversation was 3 min long. It was not like I was on the phone arguing. I simply stated that I was upset with having to pay for it. I have never been spoken to as rudely as I was today and to think that he speaks to returning paying customers like that is a disgrace.
