March News and Specials

March 1, 2008

Specials for this Month...

March is here, bringing us another step closer to Spring, another wonderful Holiday and more importantly: Warmer Weather! (Only if you are bored of all this snow and cold, as I am...)

Of course, as it is a new month that means I have new specials that I would like to announce! Beginning this month, I am  incorporating ‘Weekly’ Specials.  This means you may want to bookmark my website: http://www.annhauer.abmp.com to see if something may be of interest to you!  I have also increased my session times, so that you may feel completely WONDERFUL at the end of your appointment!

Currently for this month the specials I am offering are:

I have updated all pricing and website information... Please see my website for changes that have taken place.  ;)

*** After serious consideration, I am leaving Bence Chiropractic.  You may see more on this under "New Partnership - Updated!".

I am also currently working on some ideas for the Holiday week for a promotion, so please check back and do not be afraid to contact me if I do not have anything listed in the weekly section on my website as I may just be editing it.  Some services are also being removed.  These services are ones that are usually never selected, so the menu will not be 'cluttered'.

Also, I have made a change in my service hours... Beginning this March, I will be closed during the day-time hours on: Mondays and Thurdsdays for therapy sessions.  (evening hours are still available beginning at 8pm.).  Saturdays are open from 11am - 4pm... These times do fill very quickly, so make sure you book ahead to be accomodated.  My online scheduler may be very handy for this.  Sundays are open for 'emergency' sessions only, but for an extra charge of $10.00.  (my family is asking for to have their "mommy" back, so I do need to honor them, I am sure you understand.)  As usual... I am unavailable between the hours of 5pm - 7:30pm for Sessions, due to "family time".

Have a great month and I hope to see you soon!

Natural "Spa" treatments/ remedies for Home...

Fun things to do for yourself that can make the world of difference to how you feel:

For aches / pains associated with a cold and something I highly recommend after a Reflexology/ Massage session:

Take one ½ cup of Epsom Salts and about 2 tablespoons of Baking Soda mixed, pour under a running tub.  Use half of this mixture if you prefer to just soak your feet, only (which is great to help some types of headaches when combined in lukewarm water.)

To help your skin heal and look radiant:

A small teaspoon of RAW  honey (this cannot be processed honey, or ‘runny’.) and smear it all over your face (and lips to treat them – especially if they are dry.).  Leave this on for at least 15 minutes or longer if preferred.  Great for blemished skin, but works for all skin types.

Suffering Large Pores?  Look to the Hen:

Well, at least before it is born!  I suggest using an Organic Egg for this treatment.  Using only the egg-whites, beat with a fork until frothy and then apply to your skin (I use a cotton ball for best results.).  You will know when it is time to remove (between 15 – 20 minutes.) as your face will tighten dramatically!  Who needs to spend extra bucks on the skin tightening masks when the egg does the best work?

Have dry cuticles and they are driving you crazy? Try this:

Mix a teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a squeeze of lemon juice (best if from fresh-squeezed.).  Be aware of any torn cuticles as this may burn due to the acid in the juice, but the Lemon will help the nails harden and the Oil will soft your skin.  A two-in-one treatment best done at night to allow for penetration. Just massage in after soaking, and for a better treat… Warm the solution!  (Also helps to protect from fungus for those that frequently have their nails done.).

More tips coming soon!  On the other hand, feel free to ask for or to suggest an idea.  I will try to provide a Natural Solution to mak
