Ariel's

I attended this horrible salon/school. The owner and her husband are there to take the students money. They claim to have such a wonderful business and tons of experience. They tough me NOTHING!!!! The students and I tough each other. When we asked for some direction she would yell and swear at the students. She made me lie about the criteria and things I needed to have learned in order to finish my state board papers. I can go on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who has had a problem should contact the Alaska State Board of Cosmetology....(907) 465-2974....this place should not be in business!!

I had the worst experience ever at Ariels. I can't believe they are even in business. I made an appointment for a bikini wax. The room was dingy and gross, but I thought it would be okay. The lady didn't know what she was doing, left me bruised, covered (literally) in wax. She opened the door several times to answer the phone, the room door pointing towards the main door, so anyone could see me. Another lady came in unannounced to check on the lady performing the wax, super weird owner. Talked about porn while waxing me. Just disgusting and horrible, I felt violated...

It was my 46th birthday and I decided to give myself a little make over at the salon that I pass by all the time called Ariel's. When I first came in the door I was greeted by her pleasant staff. It was smaller than most of the day spas that I frequent, but It had a homey feel to it. the owner came out and introduced herself to me. She cut and highlighted my hair, and talked me into a facial. The best I have ever had, even better than the best day spa down town and midtown. As others came in , she cooked me a fabulous breakfast and treated me to a birthday water massage. I have been back 3 times and have bought with me a new customer and each time I am amazed at how much I love the results 4 them & 4 me

Walk in I wanted a wash, simple long layer cut, (as I wanted to keep my hair long), and style. I would have thought that a professional could tell the difference between bleached hair and natural blonde hair but Ariel said it looked green because I color myself She washed my hair we went back to the chair Honestly the haircut might have turned out fine if she had been more professional and focused on customer service, but instead she left me in the middle of the haircut to talk on her phone.She talked for at least 20-30 minutes when I got home and washed my hair a day later , I had found that chunks of my hair were cut and other chunks were left straggly like they hadnt been cut at all.This was inches of differencE From a spa and stylist who claims to have 20+ experience, and an instructer no less.Its just unacceptable.
