Auntie's Antique Mall

Tucked away in nice country setting, you would not expect to find the quality and quantity of Antiques in an old Airplane Hanger converted to an Antique Mall. We spent an hour browsing and ended up finding some nice vintage toys and Disneyana to add to our collection. We had to leave without visiting all the dealer booths but will be back in the near future. The sales staff were helpful and curtious and knew where to guide us in our search.

We just visited the Parkman Auntie's Antique Mall today and had such a wonderful time....chaulked full of wonderful antiques and vintage finds. All the floor workers were kind and quite helpful....some even chatted with our husbands as we ladies shopped. We are all looking foward to another trip soon......there just may be another trip back next weekend. If you have not been this is a must stop at place!! :o)

Nick and Jean are the new owners as of Jan 1, 2009. We have spent a good deal of our first few weeks cleaning - it was clearly needed. We are grateful to the loyal following that Aunties has aquired over the years and are sorry to read even one bad review; by and large we hear good things. Our dealers on the floor try to be attentive as you shop; some may misconstue that as "stalking" but we really are just trying to be helpful. We have found our vigilence will also act as a deterent to those unfortunate people who are inclined to shoplift. Because the vast majority of our dealer's merchandise is openly displayed, we try to minimize theft. We will be installing surveillance equipment in the near future and perhaps that will free our people to act more as customer servers rather than "police". We look forward to welcoming you to Aunties Antique Mall - 14,000 sq ft of antiques and collectibles. Thank you for your reviews - we will keep checking back to make sure we stay on track.

I own a Bed & Breakfast and often send guests interested in antiques to Aunties. Reading prior reviewer...can't comment on bathrooms...but I think the antique vendors (who rent space at the mall) take turns "working the floor". Yes, they seem to be at your side - but I would guess they just want to be helpful. Or maybe they're bored, and happy to see a potential buyer. The vendor watching the floor is supposed to take your selections up to the desk so your hands aren't full as you are browsing. There are no shopping carts! So, if you so much as pick up (and want to buy) a small bottle for example, the floor-person will whisk it away for you and give you a tag to re-claim it when you check out. All-in-all, Aunties has a huge selection of quality items. It would take about 3 hours to really go through the place.

Just came back from Auntie's Antique Mall. While merchandise is nice, the men's restroom was absolutely disgusting. Also, we were followed around the store by an employee during our whole visit. Employee kept staring at us as if we were going to steal something. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. Will not return there again.
