Beaver Bay Agate Shop

Our family stopped at the rock shop on our trip a long the north shore. We all found a "prize" to buy and I could've bought much much more. Prices were good and the jewelry was amazing. The rock museum was also very very interesting. We plan to go again when we get up that way.

Very cool shop to stop at on the north shore. Many great quality fossils and items you cant find anywhere else on 61 a must stop for your north shore trip

I purchased aThompsonite agate that was wire wrapped, from Beaver Bay Agate Shop. Love it!! It is so unusual , I get tons questions about it every time I wear it. I am so glad we stopped and will certainly stop again when in the area. The staff helpful, and the owner very knowledgeable

I bought my tumbler there years ago and it is still working great, I can always depend on getting great advice on my tumbling adventures. All the folks there are always willing to identify a rock for you at no charge, no matter how busy they are. I will always buy all my tumbling supplies there and know I can depend on the methods of tumbling I get from them. And I LOVE the thompsonite collection he has!

Really enjoyed my brief visit & general shop tour. Wanted to ask you the following - have you seen or heard of green Mary Ellen Jasper? A swap flat rate box rockhound buddy told me about this upon my return to Al. He's sending me some, apparently from the western side of the Measbi Range. Enjoying the few but magnificant items I picked up on my visit. Haven't forgotten "box" I promised. Awaiting club Gem-a-Rama this sat before I pack one. Will include some garnet in schist ( black iron) and Al. brilliant from Wetumpka and Brilliant, Al. respectively. Don King
