Professional shop with scheduled group runs.
As luck would have it, I found a pair of Mizuno wave creation 11 on sale. Instant fit from a brand I'm loyal to. Easy sale for them. I inquired about the posted group runs scheduled weekends and some nights.
I joined the store owner for a morning run the day after 2009 Kona 1/2 ironman in May. I wasn't ready for the speed workout we did together. Although on vacation, I would have liked to had a leisurely morning jog.
I pushed the threshold a bit to keep up. I'm not used to 7:00 min/miles, but managed to keep a steady push for the 3 mile "quick" run.
When I return to Kona I'll be ready for the challenge!

If you are ever on the Big Island of Hawaii you must stop in and visit Big Island Running. It is a great store !!
