The waitress was terrible. The food is over priced and taste terrible.

Im from Oklahoma where we love Beef! This place is gross. Tables were dirty. The food is a sorry excuse of "cuisine". Our waitress had a bit of an attitude problem. A friend at our table ordered a burger and although speedy service is good, it came out in no more than 5 min. There is no way to cook a burger in 5 min which means they have them precooked under a heat lamp or something. I odered a steak and their steak chef needs a little retraining. Steak had no flavor except for some season salt lightly sprinkled on it and of course it was overcooked. Other than that we had a great experience making fun of the rather large manager/owner.

While vacationing in the area recently, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. All I can say is WOW! The food (pulled pork, burgers, pasta and YUMMY fried Oreos) were just fabulous! The service was just as good! Tim, the owner is a down home kind of guy that really makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere, the food portion and the price is unbeatable! Soooo worth the 9 hr drive from my house to his door. Can't wait to visit there again (soon!) Do yourself favor and stop by Bogart's in Sylva, NC. You'll be glad you did!

Some of the best pulled pork I have ever eaten. We had the sweet potato fries with it. One of the best meals we had on our 4 day trip. The service was great too!

We have been going to Maggie Valley for 5 years on Ski Trip with our Church youth and we always go to Bogarts because our entire youth group enjoys it. Great selection on the menu and all the food is great.

My husband and I moved to Cullowhee in fall of 2009, and have often eaten at Bogart's since. It's our 'go-to' sit-down restaurant. There's always something new to try, the specials for lunches rotate, and they put the special on the sign out front, so you know what you're getting. We really enjoy it, and take friends who are visiting to dinner there whenever we can. :) Highly recommend it!

I had a steak while I was there and it was wonderful. Their baked sweet potatoes are to die for. This is a good place to eat. I recommend it highly.

great ribs, everybodies food was hot and superb. Tim came over and had a talk with us, great guy! fallin off the bones ribs. moist, and the dry rub and barbecue sauce absolutely phenomenal. Thanks Tim, give my best to your chef.

My wife and I came to Bogart's this morning for breakfast. There were probably 10 patrons in the restaurant and four young ladies behind the counter. We waited for 5 minutes and still hadn't received a glass of water - all the while these young ladies were enjoying a chat. The table was sticky from, I presume, someone's syrup. This the second time we have had terrible service. By the way, we are locals and we eat out often - there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from.
