Boondocks Restaurant

Our family of 10 from Columbia SC barged in at 5:30 without reservations. We had enjoyed Hunting Beach earlier and all were hungry. I think the server number was 14. He took care of us graciously and timely because another party needed that table shortly. Excellent food , service and atmosphere. We will be back !!

We vacation in the area every spring, camping at nearby Hunting Island State Park. The place is rustic but on Wednesday nights they have boiled or fried shrimp for 35 cents each. Both are good but I prefer the fried which is nicely spiced and perfectly done. My wife prefers the boiled version. A couple dozen shrimp and a couple of draft beers make for a perfect night out for my wife and I. Get there around five as the place fills fast. We look forward to heading their again this coming April.

I love this place!!!!! Good food,nice people, and fun dancing upstairs!! Don't ever pass up an oppertunity to go there!
