Box and Bow

I've spent hundreds of dollars with this store and up until now, had no problem but I will never shop there again. I ordered monogrammed items that never came. As soon as my order was late, I repeatedly called the owner ~ who never had the courtesy to call me back. I visited the shop and spoke with her employees to try to get some answeres and always got a different story about where my merchandise was. Of course, they charged my credit card from the start and 4 months after placing the order I still had no items and no contact from anyone. I have reported them to my credit company and will never go back!

Originally this store was a novelty until the jewelry began to fall apart (I should have noticed) it was falling apart in the store and some clothing I purchased immediately started fraying and coming undone at the seams. I dealt with an older woman at the store who was very rude to the point of making you uncomfortable a few times that made for a rather unpleasant shopping trip. There are so many great standout stores like the Ruby Slipper, this store doesn't really doesn't make the cut. Low-end items that break & worst you are treated like a low-end person.

The best store, but we are so sad to see they moved from West Newbury to Newburyport. One stop shopping for everyone on your list. Great prices and always wrapped up so cute! Everytime we visit, there is always new merchandise to check out! Love it!!

Everyone was very nice when we went in the spring they have moved to downtown Newburyport now and teh store is a little smaller but the same charm and interesting items

I ordered a necklace online on July 6 and it's August 3 and still haven't received it. They first send it to the wrong address, then they resend it again and I still haven't received it. They said they would trace the package and call me, I'm still waiting! How long does it take to get a order send from Newburyport, MA to North Reading , MA?

Walking into this store, you are overwhelmed with the cheery merchantise, along w. cheery, friendly staff. The prices are incredible and merchandise is very current. A must go for 8-80 year olds! Its a shame that one dilusional patron can warp the view of the public and disturb a local business serving the public perfectly!

I agree that it seems to be a nice well priced shop and both times I have been in the 2 different people were very friendly. I met the owner on one trip and she was great. I also agree that some people look to cheat hard working Americans through out court system and I find that discusting. That woman with the shoes needs to get a life! Box and Bow is a great shop!

I'm so glad I decided to check out this store and not listen to the garbage below. This is such a great place with every possible gift idea. I shop in Newburyport quite often & I was shocked at the fantastic prices here. I actually got to meet the owner (who was NOT rude at all) She was very sweet to myself and my boys. I love that her handmade items come from local home based businesses. What a unique place! After being there for quite a while (allow yourself some time to shop there is a LOT to take in) I have a really hard time believing the below review! Can't wait to go back!!!

Please ignore this crazy woman from Hingham. We heard about this fist hand. This incident happened in Ogunquit, ME 2 years ago as she dropped a dog ornament on her foot and very rudely did not offer to pay for it. It was obviously staged and she is trying to rip off the store. The store in Newburyport is great, great prices and very friendly staff. It's too bad that someone actually has the time to try and make money off of hard working people w/ ridiculous accusations. I wish we lived closer to frequent the store more often.
