Nestled on main street, the Braun Book Store was a very memorable literary adventure for me. After enjoying one of the myriad of unusual coffees from The Grinder (next door, artsy ambiance, open yet cozy) I wandered in Braun's. Tyler (I think) was helpful, but not pushy in leading me to vintage childrens' books. He found for me, "Make Way For Ducklings" (1941, mine was a reprint, but beautiful none the less) "The Little Ping Pig and The Big Road" (1935),and a set of childrens' Bible books. These are now displayed in an antique book shelf for my grandchildren in Flagstaff. I highly recommend spending time in The Grind and then frolick through the Braun Book Store. Well done Braun & Grinder. By kelley j bagby on August 14, 2011 at 10:57 AM
