New owner from Stewart. She does a great job...and she's hot!! We had a good meal and they were very busy. Look's like she will make a go of it. By Al on July 01, 2010 at 10:37 AM
Food is cheap and good, but kitchen is very slow. Service is terrible unless you get one of the two bartenders that actually cares about serving you, then it is fine.
There are always(always!) a handful of employees sitting at the bar drinking, and they get priority service for some reason. Most of the employees are hardcore drinkers, which might account for the fact that they could care less about the customers that don't work there.
The bartenders split tips with the kitchen, which could account for why it is hard for them to attract good bartenders. Looking for a quick burger and a beer? Leave yourself 45minutes on a good day, and an hour or more about half the time. We have a rule with them, if they don't approach us in the first 5 minutes after they see us, we walk out. We walk out about a third of the time, but I don't think they notice or care.
It could be very good, the drinks are strong, the bands are good, just needs a different staff, but it's all we have here! By stewart townies on November 27, 2009 at 10:24 AM
This place has really gone down hill fast with the old owner being gone. Service is terrible new owners are unfriendly and simply don't care. Would recommend not stopping and driving right by. You would get faster service@!!!!!!!! By Anonymous on June 16, 2009 at 09:23 AM
We came to see and hear The Dakota Ramblers and had a fantastic time. We saw them at the Medina the first time when they opened for Don Williams and again when they opened for David Allan Coe and just recently when they opened for Jimmie Van Zandt in Sherburn. We'll be back again when the Dakota Ramblers play again. They're our FAVORITE Country band. Oh yeah, the dance floor is huge and the food is delicious and affordable. Did I mention we just LOVE the Dakota Ramblers?!? Hope they come back there soon....we'll be back to see them when they do! By Spencer and Audrey Collins on June 10, 2009 at 06:17 AM
In the middle of the cold Minnesota winter, this friendly warm Bar & Grill exist. Great comfort food. A must stop on Highway 212.
I will recommend to everyone back in Vegas. By Gardner on January 05, 2009 at 01:38 PM
This is a must stop on our way down to the casino in Morton. The bowling girls go to Morton at least twice a year and I always look forward to the Cactus Burger and a beer. We can't go by without stopping for a couple of hours... By Michele on November 11, 2008 at 01:52 PM
