Celestial Creations Enchanted Gifts of New Mexico

Every time I cruise through this area (which is several times a year), I have to stop and buy some more Sandia Soaps and prickly pear cactus candy! This place has SO much stuff you can't find anywhere else, and it's all made in good ol' southwestern USA! Oh yeah, they have lots of free literature and friendly advice on where to soak, eat, stay etc. too. We need more shops like this one for sure. I hear they have online shopping now, too--haven't checked that one out yet, but I'm sure I will.

Truth or Consequences has a large population of artist, and the best of them have their wares at Celestial Creations. Celestial Creations is a must see if you are in Truth or Consequences, it is in it self a tourist destination. You can lose track of time while your imagination is flooded with the beauty and uniqueness of all of the items in this place. If you are unable to visit in person the next best thing is to browse the gallery on line. Check it out for truly unique items for treating yourself, birthdays, or any occasion for gift giving. I would say if you can think of it that it will be there, but that is not correct, there are so many things that you would NEVER think of, all made by local starving artist. You will not find "made in China" here. So please check it out for an awe inspiring experience.

I always stop in on my business trips through Truth or Consequences to pick up something for my wife. There is jewelry here you can't find anywhere else, especially at these prices. And always something new every time. The owner Celeste recognizes me and shows me what's come in the last few weeks. She even remembers that I like photo cards! Whether you are looking for a high-end shawl or cape or a cute ceramic turtle, there's something for every budget. I hope this place stays open, as it's a true asset to the community (and the state), since so few places sell genuine New Mexico made art and craft. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because she's not open 7 days a week and sometimes I'm down there on a Wednesday their closed day and miss out.

A fun place to spend an hour checking out all the neat stuff made in New Mexico. Especially loved the metal peacocks, cactus, ladybugs, and pink flamingos for the yard! That guy has a great imagination. Plus really cool stuff with Truth or Consequences, Spaceport America, or Elephant Butte on it. Not only the usual bumper stickers, T-shirts & caps, coffee cups and refrigerator magnets, but also some unusual things like painted saws, ceramic roadrunners, shot glasses & quails, and exclusive cards & postcards. This place is real winner; check it out!

I just love this shop. I spent an hour wandering around just looking at everything. Everything really is "made in New Mexico". I live in San Diego and own property in T or C. I was lucky enough to be in T or C during one of the Art Walks and was able to sample some of the delicious food items that Celestial Creations sells. Of course I had to buy some. I also bought a pair of beautiful hand made earings, truffles, bath salts and more. I will definately visit again on my next trip to New Mexico. THIS IS A MUST SEE STOP WHEN VISITING NEW MEXICO!
