I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to write one for Check Mark Services because of the incredible experience I had working with the company. I had a home inspection on a 90 year old home in Westchester county. As a first time home buyer I was very nervous. Working with Jeff allowed me to make decisions with confidence. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He was flexible and accomodating in scheduling and extremely prompt. He completed a very in-depth inspection and provided a well-written, detailed report with ample photographs and clear captions within 48 hours. He was patient in answering my many questions and explaining home maintenance recommendations. He provided multiple solutions to issues with the property and gave estimated costs for proposed work. During the home-buying process, which was confusing and often misleading, working with Jeff was an absolute breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend Jeff, and Check Mark Services!!!!

We chose Jeff to do the inspection on our very first home purchase. His report was extremely detailed and he even noted things that weren't necessarily problems, but rather things we should know. During the inspection itself, Jeff was very thorough. He took the time to explain anything that we had questions about. Jeff is also a fun guy; he made the the inspection fly by. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a home inspector.

So glad that we used Jeff to do our home inspection. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Plus, he's a genuinely nice guy who takes the time to answer all your questions. Jeff performed a kitchen inspection for us after we fired a contractor who had botched our renovation project. Jeff wrote a report that pointed out the many flaws in the contractor's work. The report was easy to read, detailed, and comprehensive. It was supported by lots of clear photos. We took our contractor to small claims court and we were glad to have Jeff's thorough report as evidence for our claim. I would highly recommend Check Mark Services.

Jeff Molloy was fantastic from the beginning to the end during the inspection process. He's very knowledgeable and accessible...he answered questions and provided some advice well after the inspection report had been delivered. The report itself is well organized, incredibly detailed, and the photos make it easy to fix minor problems. Would recommend Jeff's services in a heartbeat!

Jeff was VERY thorough with the inspection of the house we planned on purchasing. We had no idea what to expect as first time home buyers, but he explained in detail any and all issues that he came across. He is DEFINITELY going to be recommended by us to EVERYONE and ANYONE who needs an inspector!

Jeff performed a top notch review of the home we ultimately purchased. His home inspection was very thorough, and took his time to explain both areas of concern, as well as things that we as first time home buyers were not aware of for routine maintenance. I would highly recommend him to anyone purchasing a home.

Breath of fresh air Jeff Malloy is. I was very nervous to use him because I just found him on the net and called him based on reviews, he wasn't recommended by a friend who had experience with him. From the moment I called, I got good vibes. He was personable and sounded like he knew what he was talking about. We are first time buyers and this is the second home we've had inspected. We had used Heimer [Engineering] prior and while we didn't hate them, we didn't feel like they were thorough and I didn't want to use them again. Mr.Malloy walked us through everything and explained what he was doing. He took pictures and provided us with our report within 24hrs. The report was clear and concise, no technical terms that we can't understand like what Heimer did in their almost 100 page report. A wonderful man who knows what he is doing, engages his customers, takes his time to explain everything. Highly recommended.

We recently used Jeff Molloy for a home inspection and had a very positive experience. He was prompt, thorough and personable, and he answered all of our questions along the way. We also had a number of questions after the fact, and he got back to us in a timely fashion. We would definitely use him again!

Jeff Molloy is GREAT! I called to test the lead in my house, next day he was here. He answered all my questions, he's a fun guy, honest and he knows what he's doing! I definitely recommend him!!! =)
