Colonial Van & Storage Reno

This company underestimated amount to move, had to send for another truck and send that shipment separately. Colonial Van used a transfer company for the second (delayed) shipment and all of our stuff was thrown into bins. Some of the items were broken and if we wanted to get reimbursed they made sure it was not an easy process. It was not worth following through on. That same shipment was sent here to Orlando where another company stored it then delivered it. We have received TWO invoices claiming that we owe this company another $875.00. We paid for the complete move on delivery of primary shipment of furniture. Both invoices have been signed as paid in full and yet we are still getting invoiced. This is only part of the problem with this move. Colonial Van does not seem to be well organized at all. We contracted to be moved by North American and American Van Lines showed up instead. I would look elsewhere for a moving company not Colonial Van & moving and storage.

Dear Ken: Thanks very much for the great counsel and great work on the relocation of our offices. From the pre-move meetings with you on what needed to be done, to the labeling and floor plan drawings, to the actual move; it all went great! It was sight to see the three trucks pull up to the old office at 8:00 AM, nine guys pile out and load it all in 90 minutes. And it was just about that fast on the other end so we were largely up and running by mid afternoon. The crew was careful, efficient and friendly. A very positive experience!
