The Smartydog Center for Canine Enrichment

I really enjoyed going to class and I learned a lot. Classes certainly made adopting my dog less stressful. They have a lot of nice options here.

I was about to give up, our puppy was so wild with my kids. My youngest was afraid of our 4 month old golden. Fortunately, the classes gave me really good techniques for managing my puppy and he's doing really well now. If you have problems with your dog, don't wait, training will help.

We had problems with our golden retriever acting up at home. Our dog would nip at my wife & teenage daughter and would often get into things. She liked to steal items and run around the house. I couldn't see how an obedience class would help. My dog already knew the basics; basics; sit, down, stay etc. but since the center came highly recommended by our Veterinarian and what we were doing wasn't working we decided to give the behavioral obedience course a try. The focus wasn't as much on obedience commands as I expected it to be, the focus was on communication and our dogs impulse control. It's a bit hard to explain. Our dog became calmer and more attentive, training became fun for all of us. Since the classes my wife, daughter and dog are much happier, and so am I.

I've raised lots of dogs and attended many classes over the years. My new puppy has been shy & fearful since he was a pup. I didn't think he would be able to get past his insecurities. Fortunately I found Martha at the Smartydog center. Classes have definately helped my dog and he is doing very well. He pasted his CGC and therapy dog test this summer and is an excellent therapy dog. I am very proud of his improvement but I couldn't have done it without the Martha's classes.

Our pup was so active and out of control that we just weren't enjoying him. Since we started classes he is doing much better. I didn't think we needed puppy classes, but I wish we started much sooner. Boomer is becoming an awesome dog.

My dog is very shy. I tried training classes at another facility but my dog was very uncomfortable. I had decided that my dog was not a good canidate for group classes, A neighbor suggested that I try the Smartydog Center. I went in and watched a class and talked with Martha before putting my dog in class. I couldn't believe the difference in my dog. She absolutely LOVES going to class. She is no longer a scaredy cat, she has learned so much. I would reccomend Martha's classes to anyone

The Smartydog Center is an excellent place to go if you like doing alot of different things with your dog. My dog is pretty well trained so I had stopped going to classes with him. A co-worker told me about the communication classes that she was taking so I decided to give it a try. I've taken flex classes, gone to movie night and even taken my dog kayaking. My dog and I are having a great time. I didn't think he could learn more things but I was wrong, he surely can.

I thought my dog, Trooper was an idiot (okay not really) but he just wasn't learning to behave like my other dogs. Fortunately I found out that I didn't know how to teach him, now he's doing wonderfully. We took him to the smartydog center to teach him to behave and now I look forward to going to class just to relax and have some fun with him.
