I agree with all of the reviews above. Pete and Sven are first rate! As far as cramped parking goes.....hey, it's a repair shop, there are going to be cars around, and it is EASY to find just off either South or West Ave. No problem.

I've been bringing my cars to Conway for many years and I have always been impressed with their honesty and fair pricing. They do very well with foreign cars which is what I've owned. You will not see them advertising anywhere because they believe in the power of word of mouth and they stay quite busy. I recommend Conway to all my friends and family and to anyone reading this review. You will not be disappointed.

Conway auto is the best small (or large) business I know of anywhere or at any time. They (Pete or Swen) are always friendly, they take the time to answer a million inane questions (I know I sit and wait for my car sometimes and hear them and sometimes I ask them) and Pete always knows the best and the cheapest fix for just about any car and/or any problem. I just realized there is one problem; He's too busy so just ignore this and go where you've always gone...

I have been going to Conway auto for at least 15 years now. My whole family takes all of the vehicles to him. He specializes in VW's and foreign autos, but he will work on just about anything. He has never done anything to make me question his work. I like to do as much work on my vehicles myself but sometimes I don't know where to start, but I can always depend on Conway Auto for a professional answer. They sometimes can be vary busy so they are willing to tell you how to do the fix yourself. This is the main reason why I keep coming back. Any company who would rather tell you how to do it yourself then take your money is worth going back to. I have recommended Conway Auto to loads of people through the time that I have known them and I will keep doing so, I just hope I can still get my vehicle worked on..

Pete Conway is a very friendly and knowledgeable mechanic, in business for many years. He can sometimes be dificult to get into, because his work is of such good quality. He is thorough and complete in his assessment of your vehicle's problems, and I have never had to return my vehicle for him to repair something twice: What he fixes stays fixed! The shop is in a difficult location, with completely inadequate parking. The difficulty to get in and the parking are the 4 stars rather than 5.
