Dallas Hai-Hwa Overseas Chinese School

All of my three children have attended Chinese lessons at Hai-Hwa Chinese School. There is a feeling of a big family there as teachers and staff dedicate their valuable time every Sunday to not only teach the language but also the Chinese culture. I am thankful that we have this wonderful group of people to help those of us who are not as fluent in the language pass on the Chinese heritage to our next generation.

I learned that the Dallas Haihwa Overseas Chinese School was founded in 1994 on the principle of teaching Chinese and Mathematics with genuine understanding and patience. It focuses on building aptitude for acquiring new information and learning new skills. Some of their staff go to my church and I know them to be sincere and actively involved in educational efforts of the community.

I moved to Dallas a little over two years ago. One of my friends recommended Hai-Hwa Chinese school to me. My friend had sent her kids to several chinese schools and found that Hai-Hwa suit them best. I have 4 children and they have attended hai-Hwa for 2 years now. They enjoyed their classmates and their teachers very much. More importantly for us as parents, the school provide cultural activities/games after chinese class that really keep them motivated and looked forward to come to school every weekend. - Dr. Ding
