Day Fish Co

This is absolutely the finest supplier of fish in this area. The guy who runs the shop is cordial and friendly. It's not hard to find, either! The northwest corner of the main intersection in litte Day, Minnesota. We have a golden nugget in ourt backyard!

I saw a front page story in the Minneapolis Star Tribune and decided then and there that a road trip was needed to see if the story was true. The 220 miles from La Crosse WI to Day was worth every foot. The fish was great, I just wish I would have had more cash on me. No CC, no ATM and I didn't have my checkbook along. Next time I'm showing up with a couple hundred bucks plus what ever my friends order. Drive to Day for your fish, you won't regret it.

THE BEST ! Every year at Christmas our tradidion is a whole bucket of Herring for each of us from our mom. (5 of us). By New Year it's all gone. This is the best herring we've found. Keep up the good work Day !!!

i called up there to day fish to see if there was anyway. they could help me send some pickled herring to my mom who used to live in minnesota and Kitty went out of her way to make sure my 65 year old mother who now live in missouri would get her fish. what a great company and employee you have its to funny were irish and kitty even sold me some lutifisk with a promise to send a couple of recipies along with it so my mother could cook it right thanks for everything stephanie

for exceptional smoked fish (not chemical treated) as well as other varieties of fish, the Day Fish Company outshines all other sources in the state.

My wife brought home a jar of pickled herring from Cub the other day. I said to her, "That's garbage compared to the stuff I used to get from the Day Fish Company". My buddy and I (before I was married) used to each get one of the big buckets and enjoy it with crackers during football games. I gotta get some more!!
