Horrible company

1

DDLC is the worse company. "Andrew" had me sign a contract for something that didnt' even exist...and then another longer contract which he said was a formality. Once I read my "copies" I noticed the other paper wasn't there...called DDLC after delivery to tell them they charged me wrong..oh no THAT contract didn't exist, and when I wanted to talk to Andrew..was told he didn't work there anymore! They keep coming when I don't need oil racking up my bill higher and higher and threatening to send me to a collection agency because I an't pay it all infull... they are IDIOTS! Now I have to contact the Attny Gen to fix it!!!!!

DDLC is the WORST!!!!!

1

I only gave them one star because there is no "zero" option. They ran me out of oil twice on the coldest day of winter, and when they finally delivered, they did not restart the burner. They explained that their delivery drivers were not all certified to do that, and that the delivery and service departments do not communicate. The pipes in my house burst as a result of their ineptitude, adn they were rude on top of everything! It is costing me several thousand dollars to fix these issues. I regret ever signing up with them! And what's worse, their rates are as much as $1 per gallon over fair market rate in this area. I have signed up with Saveway and love their service. Wish I knew about them before!

Free oil

1

If you want free oil buy one tank full at Norwich discount and based on that price compared to the DDLC price your second tank will pay for itself. I used DDLC and found out the hard way. I could have saved $355.00 per tank if I used another company. What is DDLC thinking? I'm no longer a customer and you shouldn't be either. I hope they drowned in their oil.

ddlc wants max profit only so bend over

1

$2.99 a gal for a budget customer? They are always $1.00 or more per gallon over wholesale. These guys are true crooks, the delivery people should wear a mask when they fill up. So get your oil from someone else and you will save boat loads of money. Just what we need more companies that don't care about the consumer. Just pay,and pay so they can buy more of the competition and make use all cry. They moved to NH for a reason and it was not to save you money!

DDLC stinks

5

Had used them when I came to town. They have been a poor choice. Oil prices are a scam. They are $1.00 or more over whole sale and they use snake oil charm to make you think they are the best. Bull... Use the local guy and you will be better off. This is a group of investors who have moved to NH and left the customers to pay. The service aspect is marginal at best. Poor company just in it for the profit not for the consumer.

DDLC is a rip off

1

Have been a customer for 20 yrs. This was a mistake. Had a service agreement new techs have no care about customers and are slobs. Price of oil is a true rip off and they don't care if they lose business. They have bought alot of local companies and now moved main office to New Hampshire to avoid business costs in CT. Installed 3 furnaces and had multi fill accounts. I won't buy oil or use the service from them if they were the only company around. Beware

HIGH COSTS CHARGES - OVERPRICED FOR PROFIT

1

1/8/09 they delivered oil to my house at $2.98 a gallon which was 78 cents more a gallon than the other local competitor. Talked with DDLC yesterday on the phone with no other response than we will not lower the price for my contract (but they don't mention you can cancel your contract at anytime which is your right as a consumer - hense they ran out to my house first thing this morning) when they know I can purchase heating oil at $2.20 a gallon from Bernies. Talked to Bernies of New London and they also have a program I checked out and Bernies actually would have sold me oil today for $1.67 a gallon...CHECK OUT EGAPOIL.COM WHICH IS A PURCHASING PROGRAM AT BERNIES - WHERE YOU BUY HEATING OIL AT THE SAME PRICE THE HOME HEATING OIL COMPANIES BUY FOR AND YOU ONLY PAY BERNIES FOR THE SERVICE OF PICK UP AND DELIVERY TO YOUR HOUSE. This is what I will do from now on, I could have saved $332.00 on this tank...

DDLC-Right On!

5

Nice company to work with. Moved into our home 18 months ago and stayed with original fuel oil dealer. Shopped around this spring and found that DDLC had more competitive and affordable programs. Andrew from DDLC took the time to explain everything and was very knowledgable. This fall we upgraded our furnace and have noticed a significant reduction in our consumption. Do not hesitate to contact-very solid.
