Denise's Dance Academy

Denise is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She does so much for the studio. All of the teachers have age appropriate dances. All the teachers help you and give you tips on how to be a better dancer.

Denise is very family oriented. Her studio puts the girls first to shape them into young adults. It's not all about being #1 but how to make them better people through the art of dance. They perform at numerous chartitable organizations

I have a 13 year old on a competitive team and an eight year old on a recreation class. My daughters love going to dance and continually dance around the house. Denise and her staff are such good role models for these young girls. At competitions, they are taught how to be polite to the other studios and show good sportsmanship (which you don't see from other studios). All of their costumes and music are age appropriate and you won't see any gyrations. I would definitely recommend this studio,

This is my 5th year dancing at Denise's Dance Academy and also my 5th year dancing, period. I've never wished I started dancing somewhere else and I'm never going to leave. DDA is a great, family-oriented studio that really makes you feel at home. It IS my second home! Once you join DDA, you're part of the family. The teachers work you hard but also make sure you're having a lot of fun. We've been told that our studio could have fun no matter WHERE we are, which is the truth. Even though we have such a good time, we take dancing seriously. We always come and go from competitions with good spirits, no matter what the outcome was. Overall, DDA is the best studio. Ever. :)

I am totally impressed with the instruction my daughters are getting at DDA. I have one daughter in a recreational class and the other one on a team. Denise is probably the most personable director that I have found in Overland Park. She treats each girl like one of her daughters. The recitals are fantastic!!! All of the instructors are ADULTS and I know a few are elementary school teachers.

Omg. i love dda. it is an amazing environment to be in not just as a dancer but as a person. denise does an awesome job with everything. The instructors care so much about you, theyre so fun to be around and they have made tons of girls fabulous dancers. go there if your looking for a good dance education and a good, close, friendly dance studio, you won't regret it. :)

You can not get any better that denise's. We are a big family. I have danced there since I was 6 and never thought about leaving. Denise and her staff are so caring and really help make you better dancers. Denise isn't like other owners. She is there 24/7, teaching classes, running her business, and talking with parents. This really is a home away from home. I hope more kids can be part of this wonderful environment!!!!!!!!
