Diamond grill is a place I've been going for over 30 years. I grew up eating there, when it was called Jerry's Dairy. The food is better know than ever. I would and do recommend them to friends all the time, and I'm a regular customer. My children love the home like atmosphere and the friendly staff. By Mrs Davidson on April 28, 2010 at 09:08 AM
This little place has the best burgers I have ever had. They make quality food that is a pleasure to eat. Their fries are delicious, as are their shakes. In my opinion, it's one of the best places to eat in the valley. Instead of waiting for an hour in line at In-N-Out, drive down to Salem and try their tasty food. I know plenty of people that have worked for diamond grill and they have told me about the strict cleanliness policies in place there. Most people are actually really happy to be working there but say that since it is family owned sometimes non family employees dont get the treatment a family member would. I wouldn't believe a disgruntled employee talking about tobacco chew in dishwater. That isn't even logical who would go out of their way to spit in dishwater like that. That person can't even spell anonymous. Unfair treatment of employees is not good policy I will concede, however their passion for great food shows through in the taste. You may drool over Diamond Grill's fries, burgers, or shakes like I was until I worked there. This past summer I worked at Diamond Grill, and I got a whole new prespective of what goes on behind the counter. How many of you want the dishes they cook with to be cleaned with water that has spit in it? Not me. Might I also mention this isn't just regular spit either. This is spit from somebody who has chew in their mouth. MMM...That just makes me want to eat at Diamond Grill all of the time. That is only one of many things that happen at Diamond Grill, but that was one of the major things that made me quit. Until next time I hope you enjoy your food at Diamond Grill. Yeah like they said it's probably not the cleanest. I would take it over a fast food place any day. The food is so amazing, good home style cooking. Fairly easy on a budget too. By Todd on June 25, 2008 at 06:21 PM
The food is great but it is not a clean place to eat. The cooks do not wash their hands enough and i have seen a man handle raw meat, wipe his hands on his apron and then make a salad. By Anonymous on November 20, 2006 at 11:23 AM
