This is a great deal! Three dollars. The wash is great. Yes, you have to vacuum yourself and clean the inside yourself. It is NOT a full-service wash. I'm not so lazy that I can't do that myself.
We get the oil changed there also. Never a problem. By Mary W on March 06, 2010 at 05:53 AM
I have been a huge fan of Domarks since they opened. I have been going there for years and have told everyone I know to go there. I thought $30 for a full service oil change and full service car wash (interior/exterior) was a great deal. And all of that in about 15-20 minutes. It was wonderful! The new setup stinks. The last time I went in it was $30 without the full service wash. Just a bad exterior job. Very disappointing. I tried to voice my concern and I was completely brushed off. I would have paid more money for the same service instead of completely changing the setup. There is no value whatsoever anymore! This is a complete disappointment. I will not be back. Around the new year I went to get a wash using a gift certificate I received. No one around and the new system doesn't support the "old" certificates. I have to back out of the lane as there is no way to bypass the gates. I call up and I'm told no one is around during lunch. I call back the next day and "schedule" it. I go back a week ago, after lunch time, and I press the service button for five minutes and no one ever shows up. I go back today for another wash with certificate. He notes it is a full service wash and tells me "I'll let them know you're coming". I pull through and they wave me over- I go inside to get out of the way. When I leave I notice that the interior has not been cleaned and the carpets have not been vacuumed. I'm pretty irritated at this point. I can't believe that I tipped them. Heck, even the exterior wasn't dried off- I have water spots on my rear view mirror and frozen water on the car. The service is gone as is my business. I am so disappointed with the new car wash and service.
I grew up going to Turtle Wax, where you get full service. I was so excited when Domarks opened. It was close by and did a great job. Imagine my surpirse when I went back after the re-opening to find out I have to vacuum myself, and not even get my inside windows washed etc. and nobody to dry. That is just basic to be. The constomer service is just plain gone.
Bad choice!! I hope we get a Turtle Was in our area. By M.T. on December 07, 2006 at 08:27 AM
The receipt says 48 hrs rewash and the cashier says the policy doesn't apply to the free washes which you get after 8 paid washes ($160). The owner is behind me and angrily says "Give me a break, it's a free wash, don't make me start my day like this, it's only ten dollars." He continues to berate me as i reluctantly pay. All that's needed is a sign stating the policy. By Anonymous on June 16, 2006 at 07:43 AM
