Don's Weaponry

excellent family introduction to home defense

5

Very simply our family is new to guns and matters of self and home defense. Tim, in sales, and Terry and Ron on the range exercised patience and understanding while introducing my wife, my son and I to the complex and deadly matter of guns and gun ownership. Don's is exactly the kind of store I enjoy discovering in the USA. 5 stars!

Don's Weaponry

Two Stores in One

3

Don's Weaponry has an indoor range on the ground floor beneath the retail store. While the guys who man the retail store are polite, helpful, knowledgable, the guy who is usually at the downstairs range (glasses, dark hair, probably late 50s) needs to learn how to talk to customers and treat them with the respect that they deserve. When I asked to exchange a box of ammo purchased from him the afternoon before, he proceeded to grill me with ridiculous questions in front of other customers who, apparently, took exception to the manner in which he was speating to me. I left the box of shells with this jerk, told him I didn't appreciate his effort to disparage me in front of other customers and left. A refund was not sought nor desired. I just wanted to get away from this interpersonal moron as quickly as I could. The worst part of it is that it was all unnecessary. If you go to the range, don't take any guff from this interpersonal bafoon. W. Corman, M.D.

I have been doing business with Dons Weaponry for over 20 years they will treat you with respect and dignity. They will answers all your questions you have and are very helpful, any one that says other wise don't know what they are talking about. These are great folks to do your gun business with. I travel over a hundred miles to get to there place of business. I have always left please with the service and the items I have purchased at a very good price, they are the best.

Don's Weaponry

Experts and the equipmen to boot!

There are hunting stores, sportsmen stores, and then there is Don's. This is a gun store. From flintlocks, antique weapons, to fully automatic machine guns, they either know it, have it, or can get it. This is a great place for a beginner to buy a firearm, and they have historical, legal, political, and retail experience behind their sales. They back up everything you buy there and will service it for you. I bought a pistol from them and it malfunctioned with a certain type of ammo. They gave me a free box ($20.00 value). When it failed again, they said "pick out another gun". They sent my gun in ($45.00 UPS overnight) and had it fixed. Don may be $10-20.00 higher, but he backs up his guns and equipment. I will NEVER buy from anyone else until they can prove to me that they stand behind the products they sell.

Don's Weaponry

Customer Services is HORRIBLE

I went in looking with one of my friends to ask some questions with every intention of buying a gun, plus signing up for their concealed weapons class. They were so RUDE and ARROGANT! I had somewhat of an idea of what I wanted and needed so just need to see my options. The guys selling the guns were pushy on trying to get me to buy right then, plus made sure to tell me if I didn't buy it was no big deal because they had plenty of others who would. When we went downstairs I met the RUDEST most ARROGANT JA's possible! They are KNOW IT ALLS. When I asked a question they would listen to it and just go on blabbing what they thought I wanted. I was told to go their by several people in law enforcement! They told me law enforcement didnt know everything. I said well they sent me here! I DID NOT BUY A GUN, went to Bulls Eye in WLR off of Shackelford! GUYS ARE SO NICE! They offer concealed weapons classes there! MUCH BETTER SERVICE! 224-GUNS

Dons Weaponry

I have bought over a dozen guns in 20 years at dons, his prices can be high , but he generally deals in top notch weaponry. If you want a cheap junky gun, this ain't the place. If you want a vintage Garand or 1911, or a custom Kimber this IS the place. They have the ONLY indoor track target range I have seen in Arkansas, ALSO They usually sell ammo barely above cost.
