First Choice Heating & Air Conditioning

Called home warranty company Thursday who in turn contracted First Choice Heating & A/C. They called us Friday and we set up an appointment for Saturday. It is now an hour past our appointment time and they have not shown up. Called the office and no one answered. Very unreliable company.

Long story short...Been without AC for a week due to the incompetence of this company, esp the scheduler Michelle who doesn't know what's going on and lies through her smiling teeth. The guy Joe came out and "fixed" our AC but it shut off while he was in the truck calling our home warranty co. He then said the issue was our circuit breaker then failed to call the warranty co. to lupdate them. Took awhile for 1st Choice to call warranty co. and it was the only way an electrician could come out. Electrician replaced circuit breaker. Still AC is broken. Warranty company said to expect a call yesterday AM. Called 1st Choice yesterday PM and Michelle said she hadn't heard from our warranty co, so didn't know to call. Scheduled me for 10am today. Called her at 11a to chk on & confirm appt and she said the tech would call if he was going to be later than 12. I called at 1pm and left a message on emergency line. Jorge called me back and said Michelle didn't tell him he had an appt here today.

Jo came back at 8:30 tonight to check the air condition unit as promised. He kept his word when he said he would come back if it wasn't cooling. He found that the problem was with a second a/c unit which needed a new thermostat. He fixed both units and didn't leave until he knew we were satisfied with the service and we were receiving cool air. He is my hero. I really appreciate his coming back to make sure the units were working properly. He was very considerate and went beyond the call of duty! Very commendable service from a representative of this company. Yes, I will use them again and will ask for Joe!

This company sent a repairman to service my air condition. He left and said it was fixed but would take time to cool off. There was no change and it even got hotter in the house. Called him and he said he would return that day to check it out. He did not come back. Very disappointing service.

Fieldstone owner of 2yr old unit. Reported it at 8:45am, was told they would be out to repair "after lunch" and any parts needed to fix the unit would be on the truck. 3pm nothing, called and was told before 5pm. 5pm nothing, was told he was backed up and still coming out. At 6:45pm, tech called and tried to get out of coming. Showed up at 8pm, didn't have part to repair but would be back early next day with part to repair. It is 1pm next day, still no word on when part is coming in and no word on time of repair. They only have 1 dispatcher and a few techs! They quote high. If you are out of labor warranty and need repairs, find anyone who can honor your manufacturer and go with them. Do not choose this understaffed company.

The call went out early this morning and after no contact from Melissa, who does the scheduling, and 3 phone calls an hour apart, Melissa FINALLY calls back to tell me the servicer will be at my house between 1-5. So, at 6:00 I call, after no show to hear their office is closed! I have left 2 messages on their emergency voice mail and have yet to hear from them. I understand the high demand of AC servicers, but the lack of customer service is rediculous. The incompetence of the "girls" working in the office is not professional at all! I would NOT recomment this company to anyone. This is definetly not my First Choice...

I reported my a/c not working at 4:30 in the morning. Only to finally recieve a phone call from some one at 8:14 in the evening who never came by. His name was JORGE and never answered his phone or returned calls since. First Choice should never even be a choice,
